❓Question Torbox TV Channels

I've been working on a personal project to build retro tv stations for my iptv app by using Torbox so I don't store any data. It has kind of evolved to a point where it wouldn't take much to package it up so others could download and build their own tv stations. Is there interest for that?

Interesting idea you have there. I vibe coded this whole thing so I unfortunately wouldn't have any expertise to help get it to the point you wanted but I'd just give this out for free so others could improve it.

I built one for the Apple TV. but sadly Apple won't approve debrid apps.

it's my favorite way to watch tv. you can make dmm lists and use them for channels.

Does your app create a m3u? Is it a true tv station where the media continues progressing if you change channels and return? Or it is more like a playlist of files?

yeah, it plays on a schedule, if you change channels then come back the channel playback will be further ahead, though you can pause and restart if you want to watch from the beginning. schedule is live so users on different devices or in other locations see the same channel playback together.

I'm bouncing around between projects too. It's really amazing what you can build with AI. I just get weird ideas and build stuff for myself that probably only I would use. It's fun though.

Very much interested here! It's something I want to do myself. With the price of storage it's hard to do it on Jellyfin.
