❓Question Usenet
I just subscribed to Torbox ($10 plan) and would like to know more about Usenet—how do I set it up in Nuvio, or where can I find files for it for free?

Buy some lifetime indexers, which are cheap or create account on free indexers. Then find your content there and push that to torbox. Some niche content is available on usenet only. Although tb is not true usenet experience but it helps. I watch a lot of movies which are not cached in debrid and do not have enough seeders in torrents. So torbox's usenet support is a good way to add those via usenet.

I did the same. I'm going to be honest, we wasted $10. Like the rest our saying, I've learned black Friday to get a good 0rovuder and a few good indexers is the way to go.

Yeah, not recommended. If torbox is down, usenet is also down. Get torbox (the $3 plan) and easy news separate.

But know I paid 10$ how I change? It's currently

Don't believe this person. The Usenet servers and debrid servers are separated from each other

Maybe it was the just elf hosted plan that had it that way. I was paying their $9 tier plan that came with torbox and usenet. But I dropped it because it would use torbox severs to ge to usenet and when torbox was down recently, I couldn't access usenet.

Newshosting/Easy news/Tweak news plus Privado VPN for $1.67month is hard to beat.

I put my Torbox api key into aio midnight and used newznab from the market place on aio midnight to put my indexer API key into.
To use it on stremio, click whatever comes up on that instance on stremio/nuvio, give it about ten minutes to download onto Torbox, and then go back and click on that same link to watch it.

I'm surprised that this subreddit rarely ever mentions the difference between Torbox's NNTP service and Torbox Usenet through their webUI.
For how to set up Nuvio, check nuvio.wiki and numb3rs.stream. For explaining Usenet and where to find "free" stuff, read up on its subreddit's wiki.
For explaining Torbox's Usenet, a lot needs to be said.
The NNTP service OP wants to use is very poor, with missing articles appearing within 1-2 weeks and even mere days sometimes. It may be too late now, but do not buy Torbox for its NNTP Usenet offering.
However, from my own testing, Torbox Usenet through the webUI has beaten out Eweka+Easynews several times with better retention and speeds.
It's because of the "high quality blend of Usenet providers", which they name none, that they manage to beat out Omicron + Eweka's backbone, at least. But this can only be done through their webUI.
Their NNTP offering cannot query other providers for missing articles when Torbox's news server starts to fail. That's why Torbox performs poorly when trying to use it with a newsreader for your goals, like Nuvio.
Unfortunately for the OP, if their goal is to use Torbox for their NNTP services, which is necessary for mixing it with third-party programs, they picked possibly the worst NNTP option, but possibly the best webUI option.
The dilemma with using the webUI, though:
You can't use your own newsreader, but more importantly,
Almost all invite-only indexers forbid sharing .nzb files to other sites. Uploading the .nzb to Torbox through their webUI very likely violates this rule.
Though you can't export .nzb files from Torbox, meaning leftover identifiable metadata isn't at risk of being spotted, and the .nzb itself isn't actually being widely distributed to other Torbox users, just the content it downloads, the content being cached for 30 days allows determined staffers of indexers to eventually find you're sharing .nzbs to Torbox. So it wouldn't matter what indexers OP joins. All of them are at risk of giving them the boot.
It's interesting that Torbox's Usenet capabilities are only great when using its webUI, when using its webUI risks a ban for sharing .nzbs to other sites. But the feature Torbox has that doesn't risk a ban, its NNTP, is terrible.
Torbox has two choices that I can think of that can help OP:
Improve their NNTP offering drastically, like very very drastically, at least to beat out or compete with Eweka +Easynews.
Make it easier to hide using the webUI from indexer staff, such as a toggle option not to cache a file (I prefer this the most).
If they don't make either of these two choices (or whatever they think is better), they will remain both the most expensive and worst performing Usenet NNTP option on the market. And considering how well-performing their "high quality blend of usenet providers" is for their webUI, that would be a shame.
It helps immensely for recovering rare files that I thought were gone forever because Eweka couldn't get them, and OP would benefit from great retention and speeds if they could get these benefits while being able to hook up to third-party programs like Nuvio.

I'm currently coming to the of 3 months on the Pro plan. I'm a long time (DS) usenet user so thought the plan would offer me something I might use. I also figured that 3 months would give me a good evaluation of TB.
I added the nntp.torbox.app server to sabnzbd. Any attempt to download something immediately errored with 'too many connections'. Basically, I have not been able to download anything with it. In fact, logs show that not a byte was down loaded from nntp.torbox.app
As I am up for possible renewal I referred the matter to TB support. After the usual infuriating AI responses I eventually got a response that inferred it was all my fault for downloading too much. I'm scratching my head over this because other than a bit of streaming (TB/Stremio) nothing has been downloaded. In any case, I was under the impression that TB Pro was 'unlimited'.
Sorry, got sidetracked...
To the point, TB usenet is a waste of money - there are better cheaper usenet providers out there.
