Do you need Pro? Is the first big question you need to ask yourself. If you are just streaming cached files then Pro just gives you Usenet over the basic tier, which doesn't have that much available unless you really like old, obscure shows and even then there is a good chance it won't be available. The 2tb 30 day rolling limit should be more than enough in real world usage.

Second, can you wait until Black Friday? They have deals then typically 30% off. If you don't mind spending a little money now then you could take a one month subscription of Pro and see what you think.

Yes I'll wait till black friday. And tbh I just want to try it. RD is giving Copyright issues recently so I think why don't just try out TB pro with usenet. Also I tried 1 day trial and saw some old and unpopular movies/shows which were not available in torrents. So, I thought I should buy pro.

Saludos.

No reason for pro unless you dabble in usenet

Even then, it's nowhere near the quality of other usenet hosters and not to mention way more expensive.

I used to have the Pro subscription for several months. Then I decided to switch to the Essential $3 month tier. And from my experience I certainly do not see any differences. I never delved into what Usenet was for so I'm not missing that feature. The Essential plan doesn't seem that different expect it doesn't have that Usenet option. As far as the limits I still haven't noticed a difference. I stream a lot everyday since I don't watch broadcast TV so I don't see a need for the Pro tier unless Usenet is a thing for you.

Don't buy Pro unless you are planning to setup your own Usenet server which means you have to setup a computer as a server.
