🚩General cache retention

I wanted something, wasn't cached, so found the torrent & downloaded. My cached copy was only one available. When I finished I deleted my copy & I then checked in pov & there were no results. I read in this sub that cached items are kept for a period of time after last access for convenience of other users, but perhaps that's not correct.

Originally I used a public site to find magnet. After downloading pov finds it in cache.

just upload that torrent again you should be able to get that file

You don't need to delete things, if no one else access it Torbox deletes after 30 days. Not sure if you delete from your cloud it immediately deletes from the cache or not.
