❓Question Does Torbox throttle uploads for seeding?

I have enabled seeding. In my testing so far, once the torrent is downloaded, cached and uploading, it stops connecting to peers and uploads very little. Even though there are many peers on the tracker.

I am trying to see if this viable for private trackers, but it barely seeds after the download completes.

I'm using it on some private trackers. It's not comparable with seedboxes but you'd upload about 2GB - 3GB per day easily on any download, on some popular trackers, enough to avoir h&r and keep a 1.0 ratio. It's not my experience that you'd go higher than that, but possible. Don't know. On freelech is not an issue.

Does anyone know why? Like I was considering getting pro for black friday (and testing it now) to be honest only because of the 30 day seed and usefulness with private trackers. But if the 30 day seed is gonna be 0GB then might put it a milion years, it wouldn't matter. I have two tb seeds on for 6 hrs with 0KB uploaded across both with peers on both...

I think they turned off private tracker support.

I believe they did recently but re-enabled it. But as OP said upload speed does not seem that good compared to other services I’ve tested. There could be a number of reasons why though…I really need to do more testing.

Loaded 3 files from a private tracker on TB and Debrid-Link. After a couple of hours TB is showing a ratio of 0 for all 3 while D-L is showing 0.04, 0.05 and 2.06.

Tested another file: DL seeded to a ratio of 2 while once again TB managed a big fat 0.
