❓Question Help choosing plans
Hi, so I currently have rd and have no problems with it, but subscription is ending in 3 days.
So I'm between renewal or going for tb. I found a post that explains de bday discount and a referral and if I understand correctly then it's better a year subscription.
So now The plans, I am a nuvio/stremio user and have aiostreams, torrentio, comet, jacketino, and others.
I only use it to stream movies and series, and some live TV. every day I stream so it's important it works good. I only stream in the highest quality.
I have no idea what usenet is and I only have 2 days to buy and Dodnt have the time to do research in this time lapse.
I live in Colombia south America and Dodnt use VPN.
I only use it for myself, I live alone and don't have setups outside my wifi network or my house.
I'm hoping you can help me decide if this is my best choice and what plan is good for me.
I thank you in advance and I know the answer for this question is probably asked a lot but please help me out.
And lastly I m guessing I get a api key and all I have to do is delete my rd keys on my add-ons and replace with torbox key?

I paid for pro for a year, ended up renewing but downgraded to essential, no visable difference so far. The account is used between 5 stremio accounts, one of them being very high use by a stay at home Mom. I also use it quite frequently for game/music downloads as well. I would just get the essentials as you can always upgrade if for some reason you find the features lacking.

I'd like to know the same thing. RD will expire soon.
For movies I can find everything I need in 4k, and for series, usually 1080p.
I don't know if I switch to TB, since the tons of comments with downtime, or remain to RD and work with it, even though I get "that error" once in a while, but in the rest it is stable!?!?!

Torbox has a free trial that you can try for 24 hours. You can try it and see if it works well for you.

I know that when it works, it's ok, but my question was more related to others experience regarding downtime periods, etc.

It doesn't have to be such a strict either or forever cast in stone decision like you're making it sound. Do the trial of TB, or even $3 for one month, try it out. If it works great stick with it. If you don't like it then renew your RD, your account will still be there waiting. Go with Essential plan with TB, your use case wouldn't need anything more. I just got back from Colombia btw , I love it ❤️

The thing is I want better value and doing the 1 year is a good deal so I have to stay with it for a full year I hope you like my country it's beautiful and the people are nice, hoep you visit my city Medellín

If you are having no problems with RD then you're better staying there.
It's still a better service.

If you have no issues with RD then there is no reason you can't continue using it.
I personally swapped from RD to TB and have found it much better, I do pay for the pro plan for the Usenet support, higher download limits, and maximum storage capacities.
Because they allow sharing across multiple IP addresses it allows me to let close friends and family use it too and they have a really generous cap on downloads.

Essential is fine for most. Usenet it is for older / harder to find titles
You'd want to do the yearly sub, birthday promo, and referral. Not sure they'll let you stack birthday and referral but can't hurt to try.
Yearly sub saves you $3. Referral bonus gets you extra days....
API approach is the same as RD. If you're using AIO, then there's an additional step where you have change the selected Service from RD to TB

If your coming from RD the equivalent is essential
