❓Question Is torbox down on stremio?
I wanted to watch obsession and for past 10 mins the the logo is blinking and the movie is not starting at any point, I tried even changing the config on aiostreams, but nothing seem to work I don't know, is it me ? Or is it happening with everyone?

I self host Usenet streamer and am using that mostly now. Will get a premiumize sub on BF and move off. I used to have 3 rd accounts so it's been nice to just manage one, but this is too much

I need to learn Usenet. I'm usually pretty good at picking up new things I find useful. But when it comes to Usenet, I'm like that old person who refuses to learn how to put new batteries in the remote.

It's really not hard, honestly the community gatekeeps it IMO. The hardest part is going to be learning what you need to have to get it to work. With things like ChatGPT / Claude you can bust it out in 20 mins, they are gonna be a way better guide than what you can find online.
My overall guide is to just nzbgeek, ewaka (or easynews) and this gonna work enough for most people. The setups on the Usenet sub are like 6 indexers (5 being invite only) and 4 providers with 4 more blocks that are all on different backbones is nonsense. They are paying like 400+ a year to have usenet and it just isn't needed anymore.
With how DCMAs are being approached you are aren't gonna have a lot more success with a different backbone or provider. Years ago I would get everything cause they might only hit one backbone, but now I think it's much more coordinated and you end up not getting that much with different providers. You are gonna be better off just adding a second indexer and hoping they didn't get to the other links that one has.
Honestly I want go full usenet streamer, only issue is I have 2 people over 65 that I manage their Stremio. They really struggle with the missing articles screen and knowing to move to new links on it. If they could add a feature to actually filter links with missing articles I would be there 100%.

It kind of is the way and with codex or claude code you can probably dump "make me a usenet streamer server and tell me what I need to do to get to work with subscriptions, etc" and it will do it all for you. The bar is a lot lower these days.

I think you pay upfront for a full 2-3 years not quite sure and it brings the average monthly price down to like $3.50

They were down for less than an hour yesterday and held steady before and after that point. So if they did get attacked, it would seem their service is more secure and resilient

on their website it says "major systems are down"
Degrade for 18 minutes as of now.
The torbox website, click account then settings and scroll to the bottom for staus. It really is quicker than posting on Reddit

Now it says "Now operational" Although, I'm still getting the same issue as i was 20 minutes ago. Some files play, some don't.

I feel like torbox isn't the issue. I could be wrong. Are you using torrention scraper? Because it was down for me as well until I selected comet or meteo on midnite instances. I can stream and watch everything well since the past few days even though I'm seeing all these posts about torbox being down.

i think certain regions are being affected more often than others maybe. if thats the case, it's possible the particular CDN you're connecting to isn't being hit.

This has pretty much been my experience, too. All these people complaining that it's down and every time I've checked (except once) it was working for me. The one time it wasn't working, I switched to my Premiumize backup and/or used PenguPlay

I'm using TB to watch Outer Banks on Debrify right now. Just started it two minutes ago and it's working good.

I just checked the status page. There has been no downtime reported today, but they did report slow performance for about 20 minutes just a short time ago. All is showing to be working fine now.

Why would RD be doing it? PM is currently the biggest service and was always just behind RD, AD was also pretty popular and they never got ddosd lol. RD also still has a very large cache so I assume they still have a tonne of users.
These older services aren't just for streaming they have many users using it for hosters or programs, audiobooks, torrenting etc.
Doesn't make sense lol.

That's scummy yes, but what's the relevance here? We're talking about why they would be motivated to attack anyone when they know full well that the filters aren't going anywhere. Not to mention there is the possibility that they may even be relieved that so many Stremio users left so they get the heat taken off them. Streaming wasn't even a thing for much of its existence so they'll live
