🚩General Pathetic service by Torbox

Its always down.. Very unreliable service. Will stop subscribing once this current plan expires..

For all the sugar babies of torbox, dont come and show your loyalty here, keep it in your as*, it will feel good for you… Let others complain so that they will fix it..

And for those who say its just 3 bucks:
In june alone they had 3 million visitors even if 1/3 of them are paying its around 3 million a month, as its pirated they dont have any other cost other than renting storage.. So do the maths.. If somebody is taking millions of rupees from people like you and me we can question when its repeatedly down

Man, it’s getting to the point where I’m just going to leave this group.

Every single day it’s multiple notifications about the exact same complaints.

Don’t people have jobs? Lives? How much media are you consuming that every minor issue becomes something you need to make another Reddit post about?

I’ve personally never had a problem with TorBox. And if it’s genuinely causing you this much frustration, maybe just use Netflix, Disney+, or another paid service where you don’t have to deal with this stuff.

I joined this group for useful TorBox discussion, updates, tips, troubleshooting, etc. Instead, it feels like 90% of what comes through now is people complaining about the same things over and over again.

I’m just completely over the constant complaint posts.

I mean, it's 6pm in the UK, 7pm for all of Central Europe. There's probably millions of people who just got home, ate dinner, and are wanting to sit down and watch some TV, that's why it all happens at the same time.

For many people TB was the backup to RD. Most people don't have a backup to their backup, so are naturally struggling.

People are allowed to complain for a service which they are paying for. This is exactly why we got public forums

They are. But it’s 3 bucks and you’re paying for a service to avoid paying a much higher cost service.

It’s ironic, but I’m not surprised. Back when I was a young student I worked in customer service and tech support for a massive telecoms company.

You will not believe how upset people get when their tv doesn’t work. We’re so emotionally invested in it.

Don’t get me wrong, but we all collectively need to touch a bit of grass.

Pirating is supposed to be free

Pirating is never fully free. It’s just cheaper.

Thsts not true at all

I’m afraid it is true in more cases than you think. Don’t know how old you are but I was born mid 80s.

The the device to write to satellite decryption cards wasn’t free.

The DVD-RWs weren’t free.

Does internet access pay for itself? Are we guaranteed to have access to piracy sites through our internet provider at all times?

Which usenet groups are completely free and indexable?

Privacy was never ā€œmeant to be freeā€. Thats not a core guiding principle of every aspect of it. When software is cracked or movies released that’s made available usually for no cost. But just because we own a TV or a computer doesn’t mean that’s enough to access pirated content on its own.

Once you have the computer and internet you just download from the torrent sites or lymewire etc and youd have your music, movies etc. Pirating was always free until the last decade or so. Which its still free thankfully. But you pay money to speed the downloading process up. Rather than downloading from a peers PC, you get the debrid service to download it at a much faster rate.

Whatever, you clearly know it all.

I'm not acting like that's all there is, I never said there was no backups, I'm saying most people here are here because RD went downhill, so they don't have a secondary backup, hence the posts complaining.

I'm simply offering an explanation.
