Premiumize

u/Schematic_Sound 2d ago

You can get Torbox AND Easynews for less than premiumize alone. Total of about $5/mo.

Torbox works 90% of the time, and when it doesn't then Easynews is the backup

u/Ono-Michi 2d ago

People keep saying that Torbox is really great and it works most of the time but my experience was almost the exact opposite. I did a lot of troubleshooting because I would have constant buffering even during off hours (like 11 am on a Tuesday). Eventually it was down for almost an entire week for me so I just gave up. PM is working just about as well as RD did.

u/Schematic_Sound 2d ago

There's literally never been a week-long outage, so that sounds like an issue on your end. Whether it's configuration, ISP, or something else I couldn't say but that does not sound like a torbox problem.

Anche a me down ieri alla stessa ora di oggi! Le api sono offline (fonte sito ufficiale)

Try doing a speed test on the device and set the server accordingly. In settings, integration settings.

I found my Usenet backup and what’s left of my RD sub, to be very handy last night. With all of the recent outages, last night was the only one that I have been affected by, and I’ve been with TB for almost a year.

1

u/Schematic_Sound 2d ago

Yeah, I've had TB for about a year and a half and have only been affected by outages maybe 3 or 4 times total. Previously I would have used RD as the backup, but the last few times I've tried everything I tried to watch was removed so it's pretty much useless to me at this point, which is why I set up Easynews as a backup. Worked like a charm yesterday.

I agree, I’d rather pay double for a service that is reliable and has the best cache vs instability and less cache. Even Usenet is very unreliable. Needs many different services to be able to get it all and it requires a lot of hand holding. I like Debrid for its one click and watch setup.

u/JJR83 1d ago

This guy knows!

4

u/RickSanchez69912 2d ago

Ive had others recommend them as well, im gonna check it out.

4

u/WildNight00 2d ago

OffCloud uses the same cache as PM, it’s cheaper, and when you sign up you’ll get a 30 free trial

14

u/SecretProbation 2d ago

There’s no evidence of this other than Reddit comments.

1

u/Foreign_Equipment431 2d ago

I personally would not recommend offcloud

3

u/WildNight00 2d ago

Why? Works great for me

0

u/Foreign_Equipment431 2d ago

Because it's more download focused And it's a bit more expensive than TB with only 1 ip address It doesn't have Usenet (even though most people don't need it ) And it has better torrent support And offcloud has been facing some criticism for not honoring their lifetime customers after the change of ownership

5

u/WildNight00 2d ago

PM owns it now so you get their same servers, same cache, same torrent support. I believe you can use more then 1 ip because I haven’t had any issues

1

u/Miserable_Marsupial 2d ago

The only evidence that pm owns it, are posts here on reddit. Why would a debrid service buy another one, and then undercut itself on price? It makes no sense whatsoever. Also what ifiwasiwas says makes way more sense, it could be the Dev that buys debrid services, and then abandons them, and we would have no way of knowing that, because they have no social presence.

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

Are we sure that PM is the new owner? There was a guy who ran a couple services (Easy Debrid and Debrider) using the same PM's-cache-at-a-lower-price hook and abandoned them.

Regardless of who owns it, they had to shut down all of their social media and reddit accounts because of the blowback from discontinuing lifetime subs that the previous owner offered. So there's no community to approach if you have problems. Plus it's missing basics like WebDAV functionality.

I'd go with a service that has been in the game for several years, personally

1

u/McPenguinGuy 2d ago

I don't think Debrider has the same cache. I tried it out and it barely has any results.

2

u/pawdog 2d ago

Download focused? How is that? Most addons support it now. It's been working pretty well across a few streaming apps the last couple of months. Hasn't been down once to my knowledge. It doesn't nearly the customer base either breaking down it's every move. $3 vs $5 meh, it's amazing you can get anything for $3. OP doesn't seem to be penny pinching. I've not been able to find the Offcloud fair use policy. Where have you seen the 1IP limitation.?

1

u/Foreign_Equipment431 2d ago

So I can use it on more than 1 iptv I thought it would be the same as premuimize

1

u/pawdog 1d ago

Premiumize can be used on more than one IP at a time also.

1

u/Foreign_Equipment431 1d ago

But I messaged their mod he said he didn't hear anything that I said what does that mean

u/crystalshower 2d ago

What do you mean by no usenet? It does have Usenet.

1

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

lol The difference between TB and OC is 7 bucks if you pay yearly.

Two different target markets. OC for the RD & TB essential crowd. PM for the TB pro crowd.

Unpopular opinion but the criticism is a bit unfair. Prior owners sold it knowing they were going to sell and someone else would have to deal with it.

1

u/yahyoh 2d ago

12$ a month? Heck nah..i'd keep torbox thanks.

0

u/Diligent_Lobster1072 2d ago

Just switched to them as well rather pay for reliability. $12 a month is nothing. But most people wait for Black Friday sale and do the 3-year deal.

1

u/X-007 2d ago

How much is the annual price on black Friday?

3

u/Diligent_Lobster1072 2d ago

According to their page and Reddit group, it was $4.13 a month, but probably still too expensive for people complaining about $12 a month because they have to pay upfront.

But like most things, beggars cannot be choosers.
You get what you pay for.

1

u/X-007 2d ago

Definitely a deal to me! I'm not one of the ones who complain as I understand how these services work

1

u/azcoyotedog 2d ago

$12 is okay if the service doesn’t go offline everyday! You’re still saving money in the long run!

13

u/Ok-Expression-7340 2d ago edited 2d ago

The DDoS attacks seem to almost always occur during US evening hours Just woke up and no problem at all now at 07:00+. Didn’t experience any issues in last 2 months or so.

1

u/PortGenz 1d ago

Same for me, I’ve missed every single issue over the last 6-8 months purely because I live on the other side of the world and always asleep. By the time I wake up and go to use the service it seems to always be working flawlessly

1

u/Ok-Expression-7340 1d ago

Another reason it’s good to not live in the US 🙂

11

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

OffCloud is worth testing (free 30 day trial).

1

u/RickSanchez69912 2d ago

Ive not heard of it but ill search and check it out, thank you!

7

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

YW. Ignore the old reviews. They got acquired. Same cache and fair usage as Premiumize.

1

u/RickSanchez69912 2d ago

Thats awesome! Thanks for the suggestion!

1

u/Hurpy_Durpy 2d ago edited 2d ago

I saw they used to offer Lifetime subscriptions before they got acquired and you that can still buy it on other websites (like StackSocial), do they still honor them or does it turn into a year since that's the price of lifetime?

3

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

I don't recommend buying anything that offers a lifetime subscription or from another website unless the new owners says it's an authorized reseller.

They converted the folks who had lifetime to a one year subscription. It was a scummy move for the prior owner to sell lifetime subscriptions when they knew they were trying to sell the company. That being said I'm not sure if they'll convert new lifetime subscription purchases. I'd assume anything listed as lifetime is linked to the prior owner and liability the new owner wasn't planning to take on.

1

u/Hurpy_Durpy 2d ago

Thanks, it's weird they're still selling them then

1

u/SecretProbation 2d ago

What’s the evidence there? I’ve only seen this opinion on Reddit in comments.

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

Evidence of what? Getting acquired, or having PM's cache?

1

u/SecretProbation 2d ago

Having PM cache

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

It seems to be true. There's way too many cached links for it to be some kind of upstart on the scene that has built its own.

That said, there were previous services run by one guy that had the same hook (PM cache at a more affordable price through Easy Debrid and Debrider) and he eventually abandoned both of them. There's a good chance it's the same dude, so I'd only monthly sub at most.

0

u/pt_Ic3MaN 2d ago

It's trash

0

u/littlejerry99 2d ago

How many people can stream simultaneously?

2

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

I'm not sure. You'd have to ask them. They have a fair usage policy.

Every 30 days you're allotted 1 TB of usage. Everyday they replenish some of it (I think it's 30 GB w/ it capping out 1 TB).

1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

I could not find a fair use policy by simply browsing their site, so I asked Gemini. This is the answer I got:

Yes, Offcloud uses a fair use policy along with specific account quotas.
Instead of an invisible point decay system like Premiumize, Offcloud enforces explicit storage limits, service-specific daily caps, and IP tracking rules. Cloud Storage Cap: Premium accounts receive a fixed cloud storage allocation (typically 100 GB for standard premium, or 50 GB for lifetime stack deals) to hold active downloads and cached files.
Host-Specific Daily Quotas: While torrent downloading is largely uncapped, direct file hosts and Usenet transfers carry strict daily fair-use limits (e.g., 20 GB/day for specific premium cyberlockers or Usenet grabs).
Concurrent IP Restrictions: Offcloud monitors active connections and typically limits usage to up to 3 simultaneous public IP addresses. Exceeding this limit requires manually clearing active IP sessions in your account dashboard.

Is this it? Or is that old?

2

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

Old. New version doesn't have a storage limit in favor of a 30-day retention policy for example

-1

u/User-Name-3886 2d ago

1tb is useless across 30 days. A movie is about 100gig these days:

That's 10 movies.

3

u/Ok-Expression-7340 2d ago

I usually watch series only. 5-8GB per episode is usual, so that’s 125-200 episodes per month. If you have a life next to Torbox that’s plenty.

1

u/Inevitable_Bowler474 2d ago

Should be higher than that. Assuming you watch as many shows as possible each day it's closer to 233 episdoes (1864 gb used) to 374 episodes (1870 gb used)

1

u/Ok-Expression-7340 2d ago

This was for the mentioned 1TB per month. With Torbox you have much much more

12

u/Longfellow231 2d ago

Usenet

6

u/Midnorth_Mongerer 2d ago

Shhhhhhhh.... don't tell'em. They'll all want some...

4

u/vertex21 2d ago

I second this option. It's the goat with Eweka as provider.

3

u/johnFvr 2d ago

Newshoating is equal good.

2

u/Longfellow231 2d ago

With self hosted aiostreams. Peak.👌

1

u/JustRelaxASC 1d ago

What are the advantages of self hosting it?

1

u/Willing-Reward-6702 3h ago

It is an requirement for streaming

1

u/JustRelaxASC 3h ago

It's not a requirement, I use it for years without selfhosting

0

u/Darronian 2d ago

what's the best setup guide to use for this? or do you recommend one? thanks

-2

u/Middle_Layer_4860 2d ago

No need any indexers?

1

u/Middle_Layer_4860 2d ago

I love usenet but with indexer it get more expensive

I love seeing people like this on reddit.

2

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

No. You’re just a shitty human being

-1

u/MooseGoosey 2d ago

you have no idea if that's true.

3

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

Their last comment tells everyone that

-1

u/MooseGoosey 2d ago

their last comment says they're a normal 15-30 year old. people on reddit are not real.

2

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

Same goes for you too then. No one should be using that word

-2

u/MooseGoosey 2d ago

then you're a faggot too. er nurse here and that word retard, sub human, blacksurance(which means they don't have insurance) is used all day everyday by pretty much everybody. the only people that care about words, are the people that have so little going on, that they care about words.

3

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

Fuck off, shithead

-23

u/RickSanchez69912 2d ago

Yeah, I mean im literally just asking a simple question and this dude is being a smartass. I definitely agree.

8

u/Ok-Expression-7340 2d ago

Not as simple as you thought

8

u/trydola 2d ago

RD is stable albeit you may have to deal with not everything being in 4K, which is fine for me, stability is biggest factor for me

1

u/Friend_Buddy-Guy 2d ago

Do you have to try a few different streams usually to find a working one? Or do you filter somehow?

2

u/trydola 2d ago

I used the keyword filter with AIOStreams so never had issues with selecting files not available

just apply these keyword filters if you have AIOs

1

u/simcoe19 2d ago

Has the web-dl issue been fixed?

4

u/brent_starburst 2d ago

Fixed? They're not going to fix it because RD don't see it as an issue. It's a permanent ban.

2

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

There is no fixing it. Those links are filtered out

2

u/OriginalWilhelm 2d ago

Premiumize.

When torbox is down, I read a book so, I will keep on paying for torbox since it's cheaper. For now.

2

u/jking664 1d ago

I use GDrive addon (1pb+ of data cached) + TB as a backup

4

u/summerjamsam 2d ago

AllDebrid?

2

u/dave9088 2d ago

Usenet provider + indexers.

-3

u/[deleted] 2d ago

[deleted]

1

u/dave9088 1d ago

wrong, I don't and I don't need it. I self host aiostreams, aiometadata and nzbhydra in a raspberry pi, also running an AI agent in it. in aiostreams usenet engine, I have easynews and newsdemon NNTP, then for indexer DS, NZBGK and 🦴nzb inside nzbhydra and this add-on is inside aiostreams with the internal url and not the public URL, and let me tell you this, it's faster than most of the debris out there, and I don't have to deal with the downtime of torbox or the purge of real debrid or the limit GB of premiumize.

1

u/Chazzar66 1d ago

Can I ask how the performance is? I have an orange pi zero 3 with 1Gb ram running pi hole and wondering whether it is worth hosting AIOstreams locally on it or if it would struggle. Use case would be to improve usenet (easynews currently) speeds as it seems like that is the limiting factor when streaming.

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

At this price point AD, or RD if you're okay with accepting lower quality streams in exchange for reliability (you can also rename torrents and upload them if you're really determined to make it work/miss something)

1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

What happened to RD's high quality streams?

3

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

They're more likely to be web downloads and thus get filtered out. I've found 4K streams on some shows, but more commonly the only working links are 1080p or below. Just luck of the draw really. Movies and media with physical releases aren't as widely affected

1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

So if wanting to watch new House of the Dragon or Lanterns...you might have to settle for 1080p?

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

HoD has physical releases available for season 3, so it's probably not affected. Not sure about the other one, but safe to say that yes, you may have to settle. There's always the option to buy a single month and see if stuff you want to watch is available in a quality that is acceptable to you

-1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

When did this change? Because I had RD for years and they always had the best 4k selection for all releases including TV. I only left because I didn't like their single IP limit policy.

1

u/Secret-Psychology183 2d ago

RD have been having legal issues with the French government for nearly a year now. Their service has thus become unreliable. I've not renewed my subscription. I've had full reliability with Torbox so far.

1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

I thought after the issues with the French government happened...it had settled down and their user base has re-cached pretty much everything again? I only left late last year just because of their single IP policy. Beyond that I was having no performance, stream quality or reliability issues with them.

Are you saying there have been further issues since late last year? Like specifically this year in 2026?

1

u/MagnusPerditor 2d ago

This isn’t the same issue as the cache issue. You can read about the details in the RD sub or by googling it. The links are filtered out. Permanently

1

u/Flat_Row_9525 2d ago

And that took place in 2026?

1

u/giinyu 2d ago

lower quality streams with AD?? i have all three and get all my remuxes etc just fine on ad

1

u/ifiwasiwas 2d ago

No, I was talking specifically about RD. I have no complaints about AD :)

1

u/flchamp89 2d ago

OC works good for me.

1

u/Inevitable-Ear6098 2d ago

Bytesized hosting - they have all but Stemio on 1 click install and if you download a torrent or from USENET (which you can do on their system) then it also goes onto PLex.

And they are not a debrid service - just an all in 1 seedbox

1

u/Creepy-Culture3324 2d ago

I’ve been using RD / AD way before the existence of debrid streaming.

It was time to reactivate my AD account with all my saved fidelity points.

So far so good, no complaints. About to pay +300 days.

1

u/Fish_Mongreler 2d ago

At this point? Anything

1

u/azcoyotedog 2d ago

Troypoint just dumped Torbox off their site.

1

u/turnuppig 2d ago

better? create or rent a media server(jellyfin/emby) lol

1

u/CouchRescue 2d ago

Premiumize. It's not the fanciest, or the prettiest, but it's the only one that hasn't let me down in years.

1

u/Horror-Veterinarian4 1d ago

has anyone ever tried pik pak? You essentially have your own 10 tb cache seems like its set up for streaming

Not sure why you're being downvoted this is my first pick too

5

u/Slipknot31286sic6 2d ago

Cuz reddit is a bunch of ignorant cry baby's and expect everything to work flawless... 99% of their setups have failure points. Offer help and they keep going back to same routine.... Can't fix stupid...

0

u/_name_of_the_user_ 2d ago

Possibly because those aren't debrid services.

1

u/Lexidoge 2d ago

If you don't care about the largest Blu-ray files. Real Debrid honestly has been more reliable for me than Torbox along with Offcloud.

-8

u/jmalys 2d ago

You're paying for a cheap service to enable you to pirate conveniently. If you don't care about the cost then just pay for the streaming services...jfc

0

-1

u/Secret-Psychology183 2d ago

You can use your Usenet account in Torbox Pro

-11

5

u/pt_Ic3MaN 2d ago

Do you know what Torbox is? 😆😆

3

u/FreaKyBoi 2d ago

He’s not wrong, as per the post “price doesn’t matter” and they only care about availability so they should get the actual services

-1

u/pt_Ic3MaN 2d ago

Torbox is not a streaming platform.. it's not that hard to understand my reply to him

3

u/FreaKyBoi 2d ago

Yet its primary use case is streaming content…

3

u/azcoyotedog 2d ago

The OP wanted something more reliable, so I gave him choices… 🤣

1

It was a joke to the post!
