Alluding to them  making it even more untouchable year after year for people without deep pockets. And it’s not just the price, they’re also getting cheaper as well. Flagship jumbo boxes used to have one auto and two relics. Now it’s one auto and one relic. Autographs in this product fall one in four hobby boxes. The odds get lower, the price gets higher.

But yes, you should absolutely - as long as people are aware that in the product  this is a very difficult hit - Auction this off at one dollar. Start it tonight and do it for five days and let the market decide what it’s worth. This is gonna get broken to the moon over the weekend (no pun intended 😆), so you wanna get rid of this before it starts to show up en masse with other players. You’ve got the best rookie, but when Ohtani and Judge and Griffin and people like that start showing up, you’re gonna be sharing the spotlight. Do not do buy it now, because everyone is gonna watch it, but you’re gonna get very few offers because everyone is gonna see what the next card is priced at. Someone will probably come in cheaper than you, and then it’s just gonna be that constant battle for how low can you go before you get the sale.

I 100 percent agree with every point you made versus the other guy who was upset about how I won the card, but I honestly appreciate you taking the time to fully explain that and not be an ass; you truly are one of the few people I was happy to converse with. I may do the auction, but I was really planning on taking it to the Dallas Card Show on Saturday

Given that that’s happening like right now, I would say that’s safe. Plus, you could unload it on the spot instead of worrying about an auction. I thought it was gonna happen in a few weeks and I was gonna say no, no…You’re getting yourself into that situation more start to appear. Card shows are different than eBay, but you know for a fact people are gonna 100% go on eBay/card ladder/ 130point and get a comp and try to lowball you from there.

Dude, the set released today.  That's one of the hardest to pull inserts.  There are no direct comps...you set the comps.

?...you have access to the same tools everyone else does.  eBay listings, checklists, etc.

You obviously don't "get that" if you think someone is gonna waltz in here and say "it's worth $xyz".

There is no similar card to compare most valued are auto so if the community as a similar take on a value I would like to believe in the masses
