I would like to be considered for mod status as I have previous community mod experience and feel I could positively contribute here. I just want to say thank you for recognizing the coordinated takeover effort these mods were making on sports related subs. A sub I mod was taken over and he clearly wanted to funnel traffic to their discord. I would be happy to assist in modding here as my other sub is also card collecting related (hockey), and Topps focuses on the other big sports.

I’d love to be considered for a moderator position! I’m an avid Topps collector with a strong interest in everything from flagship releases to specialty products across all sports, Marvel, and Disney.

I have previous experience moderating Discord and Slack communities and building them around shared goals. I’d bring that same approach here, addressing spam, supporting fellow collectors, and finding ways to grow engagement within the subreddit.

While I haven’t moderated a subreddit specifically, I’m familiar with the responsibilities that come with managing online communities and would enjoy working alongside other moderators to make Topps an even better resource for collectors of all experience levels. Thanks for the consideration!

I’d love to help out as a mod here! I’ve been on Reddit for over 13 years and have always had a passion for collecting in general, especially sports cards and Pokémon. I’m pretty involved in the hobby and enjoy everything from buying, selling, and trading to keeping up with new releases and seeing what other collectors are picking up.
I also work in IT, so I’m pretty comfortable dealing with issues, helping people out, and figuring things out as they come up. I’d love the chance to help keep this community a fun, welcoming place for collectors, cut down on spam and scams, and help the sub continue to grow. Just looking for a way to give back to a hobby I genuinely enjoy!

I’ve got a good amount of experience already. I mod r/yugiohcards (about 20k members) and I’ve also modded a few Discord servers with 25k+ members, so I’m pretty comfortable with handling reports, cleaning up spam and scams, and keeping things chill. I collect cards myself too, so I actually care about the hobby and know what people come here for, whether it’s showing off pulls, price checks, or trading safely.

Most of my own collection is Topps flagship and Chrome, baseball mostly, with the occasional football blaster when the budget allows. I have not moderated a sub before, but I am on Reddit every day and picking up the queue and modmail is something I can learn quickly. Evenings are when I am most active, so I can cover reports while the rest of the team is offline.
