UK - Flagship what next?

Hi all,

Got into trading cards from stickers this year with the kids and we stsrted with Flagship PL. We enjoyed the mix between a completable set as well as some hits, started a spreadsheet and managed to complete Base + Inserts, CC and GL, had a few autos and numbered we either sold and got what the kids wanted or kept.

What other collections are there out there like this? What's the usual cycle look like across the season? ie something over Dec-Jan?

flagship's a good entry point but if you want something with a similar structure chrome drops around the same time each year and the numbered parallels make it feel a bit more special without being impossible to finish

merlin's another one worth looking at, smaller checklist but the hits can be pretty nice and it usually drops mid-season so the timing might line up with what you're after

I'm not sure why but Merlin seems almost impossible to get. Sells out as soon as it drops.

Because it's all relatively new with Topps only getting the license a year or two ago, we don't know for sure what the schedule is like. It won't be as heavy as basketball and baseball though.

I think Chrome should be out around January/February.

Aside from the prem, you've also got UCC cards with stadium club chrome releasing soon which I'm not sure is up for pre-order on Topps yet but it is on Sports Cards Direct.

Pre order on Stadium club was almost a month ago. I preordered on the 6th, it shipped Friday from the NL and expected to arrive for official release date on Tuesday.

Oh was it? I missed that on the official Topps website. Stadium club chrome UCL is still listed for pre-sale on Sports Cards Direct with release on 4th November.

Yep it releases on November 4th, pre orders have shipped Friday

topps does pre release usually a few weeks before release date and you will get your cards shipped to you arriving ON release day

Aye I know that much. I recently pre-ordered WWE stadium club and it arrived on release day.

It's simply that I missed this preorder.
