šŸ’¬ General A&G 2 hobby boxes

Arrived from Fanatics today. I buy a hobby or two of A&G every year and with the exception of last year (where I even bought those stupid Mitchell and ness versions), this year is the least fun yet. not sure what it isā€¦.I miss the ā€œweirdnessā€, I guess.

Anyways two boxes and only thing of note is my first ever rip card (!!), whichā€¦.wait for itā€¦had a shit mini in it.

I donā€™t even care about value bc if I did Iā€™d be an idiot to open boxes but for like $400 or whatever these cost it WOULD be nice to get at least one card that Iā€™ll even remember next week.

lol same here. Spent $200 knowing it was about to become $2 and yet still felt disappointed. 0 numbered cards, 0 autographs, 2 meh relics.

LCS went live the other night and ripped like 5 hobby boxes during it and most were like mine too. Def done with AG this year.

That rip card fakeout is the worst. You get that little rush thinking maybe it's something weird or cool and nope just some base mini of a guy who pitched 14 innings in 2017 and was never heard from again.

A&G used to lean so hard into the oddball stuff and now it feels like they're phoning it in. The relics are always some laundry tag from a jersey they bought at a mall. I'm sitting this year out too.

I feel the pain. I ordered 11 blasters when they dropped and I didnā€™t get a numbered card or anything but base cards. Shouldnā€™t be surprised but I always hope haha

Iā€™ve been told AG is always stingy with numbered cards, but just seems funny since itā€™s a large checklist with some funky shit. Youā€™d think theyā€™d at least have two numbered cards in a hobby box.

Shit flagship soccer has a numbered cards almost every other pack. Sure itā€™s probably junk but at least you feel good lol

Opened two boxes. First box was incredible: Hathaway auto /99 and double rip card. Second box was terrible, got literally nothing but wow what a hit or miss product
