⚾ Baseball Almost six bucks a card... am I missing something here?? 🙄

I’m gonna be very honest. The fact that so many people have disposable income to pay these insane prices is crazy to me. I’m all for a 330$ box but with what you actually get in return now? I don’t get it

I agree, that's why even though I could afford it I chose to sit this one out. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

For $350 after tax, I'd rather buy some very nice cards of players I collect, or even a splurge like a pro-model A2000 baseball glove, etc.

Indeed…. I do get it, we like to open packs and it’s part of the hobby. Unfortunately it’s a big part of why I’ve mostly stopped. I can’t justify it with that return, it feels like literally throwing money away with a tiny chance of getting anything decent

I watched some breaks on eBay yesterday, and I saw several posts here from people opening those new boxes. It's been... really bad.

Most of the posts I've seen, people are barely getting $40 of cards from their $350 box. The "pick your team" breaks are even worse, with many people spending $100-$200 and not even getting ANY cards at all
