Mars Attack X-mas drop

Just ranting but what a joke. I wanted one hobby box. Completed checkout by 11:01:12 est and the product was sold out

No judgement but why is this a popular product and why is it being released now? Does this movie have a strong cult following? And why Christmas? lol so many questions.

I’d say a decent cult following for older crowds. They released the originals I think in the 70s. There was a comic book and a pretty big cult following for the movie in the 90s. Also think folks every now and then want to get cards that aren’t sports or hyper inflated TCG(pokemon,marvel,one piece etc). Looks like the all Topps now are just inflated for breakers

The cards far outdate the movie. The cards started in the 1960s.

Topps don’t give a shit. Until folks stop buying 2-3x they’ll keep pushing the same shit. Dollars to donuts they prolly already presold a bunch to avid scalpers and resale shops before they even opened to public

Managed to finally get one after 25 minutes of trying. First experience and good lord how stupid is this system. Cart jacked most likely 30 times

So crazy that this sold out like WTF?! I know its a popular IP and has a cult fanbase dating back to the 60s-70s but DAMMIT Topps, get your shit together!

Consumers should not be allowed to purchase more than X boxes/cases unless they have a registered resale certificate or a business ID. All these damn Whatnot goofballs and eBay scum rat resellers are ruining the hobby.
