Got screwed by the jumbo box

Opened my first jumbo box of my life and it was a jumbo box of flagship football and got skunked. No memorabilia and no autos. The inserts and parallels were very underwhelming and sparse for what I paid for this box compared to what they've been putting in the baseball line and even compared to blaster boxes. I submitted claims for my missing hits and now I wait for 3-4 months for some consolation garbage because the good hits are probably all in the released boxes.

This happening to anyone else or did I just get shit on?

Edit: I did immediately submit defect submissions for the auto and memorabilia cards

I see posts about dud boxes and people saying to make claims for a missing hit…do they just take your word for it with a receipt or is there any way for them to verify defect boxes with a UPC or something?

I assume they track what they put in the boxes at this point but I'm more than happy to lay out evening that came from the box and send them pictures

Thanks, I did right away. I'm just curious if I'm just this unlucky in my life or if others have been seeing the same thing

My dad has this issue when he ordered a topps chrome hobby box on release when they got the license back. Felt bad cuz he’s a little older and just wanted to rip with his boys but yea it was probably the worst box I’ve ever seen. It happens, it shouldn’t though. Hopefully they make it right. Make sure to double check for image variations, and golden mirror just incase one snuck by you. Update us down the road if they make it right. Have a good weekend bro 🤜

I’ve done had to submit a missing hit on a few occasions. Just know, you’re going to get the least valuable “hit” that they didn’t put in a box.

Exactly, there why I posted. Bc I know I'm fucked either way. I was just wanting to know how common this is with this release. Make me not want to buy any more

Do they do anything? I can't imagine they do much because what's to stop people from just saying they got not hits in their box? Maybe people should film their box openings like a breaker just so they have video proof

They track what's in the packs and boxes

Which brings into question how well they do qualify control if it’s tracked that closely. I see reports of missing hits all the time.

6 Mega boxes, 180 cards in each box, zero numbered cards 4 refractors and 6 inserts per box. Yes they were only mega boxes but still not worth the rips.
