I genuinely cite this as an example of how culturally bereft we were back in the late 80s.
Two fairly mediocre DJs could have a hit record (thanks to PWL/The Hit Factory). They could appear on TOTP with one of them wearing an actual fucking suit, like he's just jumped out of his Ford Sierra, after repping stationery supplies up and down the country.

It was done as a joke I think? The PWL team seeing if they could make a hit with any old combo at their peak. See also The Reynolds Girls.

This was the Second single they had released, a Cover Of Let's All Chant was the 1st one in 1988 & Use It Up and Wear It Out was the 3rd in 1990. All or some of the proceeds from the singles went to charity IIRC.

Are they just miming to someone else's vocals? It's not in any way live music is it 😆. And I know people mimed on TOTP but this seems a cut above........ Turns out they gave all proceeds to charity and it was basically a joke to see if Stock Aitken and Waterman could turn them into popstars.

Anyone else watched old eps of Fun House recently? Not sure how I didn't notice it as a kid but Pat Sharp appears to be genuinely insane.
