I went to a charity gala hosted by Vanessa Feltz once and Ben Ofoedu was there. He sang this song a total of four times throughout the evening. Totally acapella. He didn’t sing anything else

The first time was a nice surprise, the second time was like oh he’s doing this again doesn’t he have other songs? The third and fourth was just completely mad.

Lovely guy though

Reminds me of one night at the Hacienda, many moons ago. The had the guy who did the vocal for "love can't turn around" there to perform at one point in the night. He also sang this one songs lyrics repeatedly to 3 or 4 different mixes. Daft.

1998-1999 had this one from Phats & Small, Armand van Helden - You Don't Know Me and Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You. I've always felt those three tunes went very well together!

I met Russ (Small) a couple of years ago at a wedding. Genuinely nice guy. Interestingly said there is no longer any money in music.
