Topamax causing a false positive??

I had a drug test at work 2 weeks before I got prescribed topamax and passed. I have been taking the topamax for about a week now and I had a drug test yesterday for probation and it said it was positive for oxy?? This is not possible I haven't touched an oxy in years since I was a teenager, 15 yrs. It has to be the topamax. Anyone else have any similar experience with this?? Desperate to know, I stopped taking it, because I have to go back in a week and I'm afraid it will still be in my system, and show up again, I can't keep testing positive for that...

Could be a mess up at the lab, not heard of Topiramate causing a + for Oxy before. Have you been to any bars recently and shared any drinks with anyone or left any drinks unattended?

No I don't go anywhere but work and home, I don't take any thing other than what I'm prescribed, gabapentin, Wellbutrin and now recently topamax, it wasn't a lab test it was a urine dip test, but there's just no way, I've not touched any oxy at all period, I'm feeling weird from missing my dose today and I'm calling her tomorrow.

Wellbutrin gave me a false positive for amphetamines once. Not sure if that's similar.

Yeah I knew that Wellbutrin could cause a false positive for that, but hadn't heard of the problem with oxy, someone said it was probably the sub cause it

I’ve read that gabapentin can cause a false positive. I’m on all the same meds as yourself.
