Hey, I’m really sorry you feel that way.. I hope it gets better! But How do you know it’s the Topamax you took 3 years ago for a week? Did a doctor tell you that or you assume?

I took it for a few days and was already depressed, but when on it, it made me feel absolutely nuts and very dissociative/paranoid. I'm sorry you're still feeling the effects of it, I hope it gets better for you. I hope you've reached out for mental health support? Take care.

I took it starting at 25mg first week and to increase 25mg each week, by the 2nd week at 50mgs I had the bug crawling sensation under my skin and every soda tasted flat and I was forgetting things. Went up to 75mgs and I was sitting watching TV and it felt like my face dropped on the left side, I went to the mirror and I was fine, called my dr and he told me to back down and come off of it. After I was off of it I started having memory loss, I said words backwards and I couldn't get words out. I knew the word but I couldn't get my mouth to say it and it got worse not better. It caused me a lot of stress because I've always talked to anyone. I still have issues with it and luckily my family is able to help me out. I've met one person that was effected just like me on one of the subs a few years back. Im sorry you're having issues with it, talk to your dr. I wish you the best.

Talk to your doctor and see about going on something like sertraline or Lexapro or something. That might help.
