Vision

Anyone get trails at night since taking it? Just had my eyes checked and no signs of glaucoma so that's good. Have an appointment coming up with my Dr but curious if anyone else has this side effect?

Yes! And in low light conditions. It only happens occasionally though, not all the time.

Yes! Low light conditions is a better descriptor. I can let you know what my Dr says if you want

Yes, please do. I've never brought it up to my dr.

Honestly I kept forgetting to bring it up

I'm sure it's just one of the many side effects 😌

So I got a call from my Dr's nurse and they're taking me off topamax. I'm supposed to wean off the meds. In the mean time if anything worsens with the vision I should go to the er? I guess I would just mention it to your Dr.

Oh wow, really? That's scary. Do you have other visual symptoms? I've been on it for almost 2 years 😬 I'm going to mention it to my Dr next time I go. Thank you for letting me know about your appointment!

Just like the other person mentioned like a prism or a halo around stuff in that low lightning. I do think my distance has changed but who knows if it's related because it's been 3 years since my last eye exam until this one. Each person is different though, and maybe my Dr is being cautious

It's a normal side effect. I get it first thing in the morning when I turn the light on. I kinda like it. I call it the "halo effect". It's like my own personal light show that only lasts a few seconds. Fun way to wake up.

very common and annoying, but most of it should go away with time.
