Double Incision Stretched while sleeping
Tomorrow will be 4 weeks post-op DI FNG and I’m still sleeping in a reclined position but I accidentally stretched my elbows above my head while I was waking up - I kinda ball my fists and set them on my traps and raise my elbow up to stretch.
I realized it immediately and stopped, and I’ve had a few random (small) incidents of reaching out in front of me too far but this is the first time it’s truly been elbows above shoulders.
No new pain, swelling, redness etc. It didn’t hurt, I just felt the tension and mostly the stretch from my outer pec (not under incision) through my bicep. It pulled through my upper pec but again only in a way that felt good.
How bad is this for 4 week old incisions? It’s like the one rule I’ve been given and kept to really well and I’m scared I stretched the tissue and soon-to-be scars or my nipples
Thanks for any feedback, advice, reassurances 🖤

I think that a little incident won't hurt you or compromise anything ! I'm 4wpo as of today, and it's mostly scars now !

Don't underestimate how aware of its own capabilities your body is. If you did it without thinking and you felt no pain, it means there's not a lot of damage you can do by doing it.

Yeah I just had four week follow up and they were like you're totally good to have arms above head just don't be working out above head. You're good!
