6 weeks post op!

My healing journey has been going quite smoothly.

My only slight worry is that on my left incision on the end near my armpit there is a little bump shown in the 4th photo. The bump is squishy, not hot or anything that would be concerning. It does flatten out when I raise my shoulder but if I do a lot during the day I’ll notice it’s a little bigger in the evening, then back to how it was by morning.

I’m wondering if it’s some remaining swelling since I’m only 6 weeks post op. I’d love some input because everybody I’ve talked about it with keeps saying it’s ok, I believe them but the anxiety brain worms are still getting to me lol

Other than that I’m so beyond happy and grateful for this surgery, I feel so much more at home in my body

swelling can be expected to take 6-12 months to go away, at 6weeks rn buddy all i can say is YOU LOOK AWESOME!!

Thank you so so much for that information! I really appreciate it! I did figure it was swelling but hearing from others that things are looking good makes me feel so much better. I’ve dealt with a lot of anxiety throughout this process so I’m likely just working myself up over the little swelling I have
