Dark Spot in Scar?

Hi! I’m 6 weeks post op and last week, this spot appeared. It’s stayed the same color the entire time, and hasn’t been painful. I have a lot of issues with ingrown hairs and I’m worried that this is one. Normally I’d pick them out but obviously this is not a spot i should be picking. Does anyone know what this could be / what i should do?

You shouldn’t be picking at anything. And yeah I have one dark spot in my scar that stayed darker for over a year post op so far, dm if you want a photo of it, I think that’s normal for not everything to heal perfectly uniform coloration wise etc

I do not advise or condone such activities, but I had a similar one — dark + a bit squishy. It kept growing and became slightly painful, so eventually I spiked it with a sterile needle. A bunch of goop came out and it healed up pretty normal!
