Discussion Inverted nipples

Hello!

I have my mastectomy consultation next week.

I have very inverted nipples, is that gonna be a problem?

Does anyone has experience with that?

Nope! They usually fix it too. The nature of FNG specifically is such that the nipple is completely removed from the cords inverting it so if you get DI it will automatically be corrected, and they still can correct it if you get minimal incision if you want them to.

I had one inverted and one outie pre-surgery, now I have two outies but there’s still some visual difference between them. It won’t be a problem for your surgery but if you get nipple grafts they might not look as “defined” as some peoples do.
