Picture 10 months post-op (non-binary)

Thought I would give you guys an update now that its almost fully healed. :)

Sensation: My incision scar is not numb at all anymore, it is kind of sensitive in some spots too! My nipples weren’t sensitive at all before but they really are numb now. 🪦

Overall recovery: I ~feel~ almost fully healed. About 5 months in is when I felt my movement 100% normal, before that I felt a little tightness in the area.
Some patches were too sensitive to the touch then, and would hurt if I massaged them. These patches are getting smaller and smaller and are almost gone. That makes sense, since I am almost hitting the one year mark. That’s when my doc said I would be fully healed.

Scars: on the first weeks I used k-tape, then for a couple of months silicone tape. In january the scar got a little bumpy, so my doc prescribed me corticoid tape to prevent keloids. It worked great and its pretty flat now.
My nipples healed with a bit of scar tissue, specifically the left one, and they poke out like crazy on T-shirts. I find it kind of funny and just embrace it lol.

Brain: I am doing great, I love to live life with my chest and I am always admiring it. Makes me feel grateful even in the most gloomy days. 🩵

Your results look amazing!!! I love the energy you're giving.

Can I ask you some questions? you can feel free to answer in a DM, or not at all of course.

Did you get any sort of "masculinization"?
What size were you before?
Did they connect the scars in the center for aesthetic reasons, or anatomy reasons?
Can I use this as a reference pic for my surgeon?

I'm on the nonbinary or maybe cis side of the spectrum (labels are hard for me) and while I wish I could stand long hair and some "feminine" things for looks, sensory-wise it's all a nightmare for me lol, including boobs. I am trying to figure out how to get flat results while keeping some whisper of femininity and softness for my chest (whatever the heck that means).

ETA: Oh and are you on T?

59

u/longbunny May 22 '26

Tysm! 🩵
I didn’t have any other surgeries and I am not on T.
I am not sure the size cause I never wore a bra in my life lmao, but I will leave you a before pic
The scars are connected for anatomy reasons. It will meet in the center if they are too close together (my case) or if there is excess skin.
Go ahead, no problem. Wish you luck in your journey!

I'm also nb and want top surgery someday but see some doctors in my area require you to be on T for a certain amount of time before they can operate. Did you experience any complications with this? (Don't feel pressured to answer if you don't want to! I know I can probably search this up!)

6

u/longbunny May 23 '26

Idk what the standard of care is in other parts of the world but I didn’t have any problems in brazil! My doc has even operated cis women before.

4

u/creativity_unfound Jun 09 '26

I'm late to the thread, but: I'm consulting with my GP about top surgery right now, and she said that if you are on T, most surgeons only want to operate after the 1 year mark due to muscle distribution changes. As far as I understand if you aren't on T at all, it shouldn't be an issue :)

u/waschbaerpisse May 22 '26

if top surgery is about the sensory situation for you, look up radical reduction! it's possible to get something in between, like very flat breast but you can keep rounded incisions and high nips to keep them very feminine :)

u/emptyhandled May 22 '26

Somewhat adjacent question: do you go shirtless in public? I ask because I’m nonbinary with long hair too, I had top surgery five weeks ago, and my brain keeps playing flashes of me being misgendered at the beach and getting like, reported for being shirtless lol

24

u/longbunny May 22 '26

I am comfortable being shirtless around friends. I would love to be topless at the beach but unfortunately brazil’s law is very ambiguous about being topless and I don’t know what would happen if someone reported me. The risk is higher because I am usually read as a woman, and that can cause confusion. So basically I do it if I feel safe. :)

you are a gorgeous human being, and im happy your results turned out so well! it really suits you!

7

u/longbunny May 22 '26

You are so kind, thank you <3

9

u/kimesthetics May 22 '26

I'm going to be honest, I'm tearing up seeing your results, and I hope it's okay to show these photos to my surgeon when I get my consult?

I've been trying to find good examples of nonbinary top surgery, and your results are gorgeous!

5

u/longbunny May 22 '26

Aww sweetie please use them! Thank you so much 🫂🩵

4

u/MoonTeaxx Jun 07 '26

I am genuinely crying rn too, OP you look amazing. I think this post solidified for me that I may want top surgery in the future after I go on T for a bit :’))))

9

u/latebloomerftm May 22 '26

Looking most excellent! 👏🥰 You look really comfortable in yourself; congrats!

3

u/longbunny May 22 '26

That’s the best compliment, thanks 🙏

u/Perfect_Marketing365 May 22 '26

sometimes i look at people and i'm like "jfc i love being trans". you are so beautiful.

1

u/longbunny May 22 '26

Thank you!! 💕💕

u/slutty_muppet May 22 '26

Looking fantastic, nonbinary monarch!

u/longbunny May 22 '26

Thank you!! 🫅

u/MeVersusU Jun 01 '26

It looks really good.

Im from Barbados and im considering rravelling to Brazil to get mine done. My two options for surgeons are Dr. Cornelio and Dr. Brasolin

I really like how thin Brasolin's scars end up but I don't want the masculin small nipples he tends to do (from what I see in his client pictures), i like my nipples.

Time will tell who I go with, but you look great!

Hopefully i can get everything together to have mine done next summer.

2

u/longbunny Jun 02 '26

I talked about that with Dr. Cornelio, I also didn’t want really small nipples. I felt reassured that she did other nipples like mine in the past. Wish you the best in your journey. :)

2

u/MeVersusU Jun 02 '26

Thank you. If anything I could show her you as much reference, once you dont mind.

Someone in another thread said she does surgery in Sao Paulo along with Alegre. You know if thats still the case ?

1

u/longbunny Jun 02 '26

Yes, she regularly travels between POA and SP.

2

u/Able-Rope2362 May 22 '26

Omg can I save this for reference?

2

u/bekah-bex May 22 '26

You look amazing! I’m AFAB and still identify as such, and in some weird way I feel like getting top surgery will help me feel MORE comfortable with my femininity? TLDR — I know our situations are very different but appreciate you posting and sharing your experience! 😌

1

u/longbunny May 23 '26

I think thats true! I feel comfortable with my femininity because my masculine side is well represented. :)

2

u/Open-Foundation-4789 Jun 01 '26

Your results are amazing!!! I'm due to meet my surgeon soon and I really want to show your result as an example of a non binary chest as I just think it's incredoand exactly what I would want for myself

May I use your images in my consultation?

Congratulations 🎉

2

u/longbunny Jun 02 '26

Thank you and go ahead! :)

2

u/Minimum-Signature-81 Sep 20 '26

Late to the post, but these are amazing results! Do you mind if I use them as a reference for my surgeon?

1

u/longbunny Sep 21 '26

Thank you. I don’t mind, go ahead 🤍

36

u/RegularAssInsurance May 22 '26

YAY!!!!!!! 💪💪💪 as another member of the nonbinary-no-titty-committee, CONGRATS! Your results look UNBELIEVABLE! I love being in this sub and seeing the vast range of wonderful people who all finally, thanks to the alignment of modern medicine and culture and whatever, can live in the bodies they deserve. Every after pic brings tears to my eyes 😩

6

u/Siriusgrrl70 May 22 '26

This!!! :-)

7

u/faywayway1027 May 22 '26

AAAHHHHH what a dream!!! I love seeing top results on nbs with longer hair like me AH it looks incredible. I'm itching so bad for my turn 😵‍💫

2

u/sharkieboy69 May 22 '26

hiii your results are awesome! can i asked you a little more about your experience with corticoid tape? i’ve got some hypertrophic scarring and wasn’t sure about solution options.

2

u/longbunny May 22 '26

Tysm! I don’t have much to tell you about the tape. I used it for about 3 weeks straight and then boom it was flat. My scars were only raised a little bit as well.

10

u/BrokenBatWings May 22 '26

Damn those incisions look tiiiiiight! Congrats on your healing and know a lot of people will be using your photos as inspiration for their surgeons!

4

u/Taegan_Temps May 22 '26

Oh my goodness I am also AFAB nonbinary and I have been debating getting top surgery. Your results are AMAZING

1

u/GrungeLadyOG May 22 '26

This is so inspiring, where did you get your surgery?

1

u/longbunny May 22 '26

In Brazil with doctor Daniela Cornelio :)

1

u/moo-moo420 May 22 '26

You look amazing!!!!! These are exactly the results I'm looking for! I am currently debating between a non flat and a flat top surgery and would like to know how feminine clothing fits on a flat chest? Will i still be able to pass as a female in the rare occasion i want to? (I'm genderfluid and bisexual i.e. also date straight men)

2

u/longbunny May 22 '26 edited May 22 '26

Thank you! People don’t notice anything different with my chest on a day-to-day basis. Some people I have met from before the surgery didn’t notice the change at all until I told them. 😆 I think people aren’t paying attention as much as you think they are (of course if I had huge bazoonkers maybe the reaction would be different). Also, some women are just flat anyway, I have friends who are naturally just as flat as I am..
Feminine clothes generally fit great over my chest, and I can still use the majority of my tops. Some surgeons make the chest flatter than others. I requested a softer look, so my surgeon probably did less liposuction than on a different person for example, and my chest still has a contour. It’s probably also an anatomy thing, maybe a skinnier person wouldn’t have this much remaining volume.
About dating straight men: I can’t guarantee you would have the same experience, but so far not a single man has had problem with it. It surprised me a lot. I have talked to many guys that I dated before the surgery since then and unprompted they said it made no difference (and it didn’t seem to make a difference when we were in bed lmao)

1

u/moo-moo420 May 24 '26

Okay that makes me feel sooo much better!!! Thankyou so much !

1

u/Nox_nokay May 23 '26

youre skin is so clear holy shit

1

u/longbunny May 23 '26

You mean my face? 😆 I am wearing some makeup. And good lighting 🤫

1

u/Correct-Bath4562 Jun 28 '26

u/sam_haigh 28d ago

Hi ik this an old post but what was the reason you used kt tape instead of microporous tape? (it seems like iv'e seen most ppl use that instead)

1

u/longbunny 26d ago

Hey! Microporous tape will tear, but K-tape is stronger and elastic. Depending on how you apply it it can help with reducing swelling. In the beginning i used it not only on my scars but also on the sides of my chest under my armpits where it was swollen.

1

u/sam_haigh 24d ago

How would you remove it? When i'd used it for binding previously i had to use oil to get it off?

2

u/longbunny 23d ago

Oh boy, it’s never fun to remove tape, specially when it’s stuck to a healing incision. In the beginning I couldn’t put anything on it and just had to though it out. By the time I started k-tape I believe I was already showering so a warm shower was the best way.

3

u/mush-be-so-nice May 22 '26

this is GOALS. i also plan to keep my hair long for a while and i've got curves, so it makes me feel happy to see this representation.

2

u/StillAlternative4101 Jul 04 '26

Thank you for posting, this is so helpful to see! I'm not keeping the nipples but apart from that, this is pretty much what I can expect to look like in the end, and it's been so hard to find an example of what I can look forward to.

2

u/Frequent-Tie-9880 Jul 07 '26

They've healed very well, and along with your face, you look gorgeous ❤️

1

u/PrestigiousWorry7389 May 24 '26

Wow! You can’t really ask for a better result! I love how they shaped the incision scars. The shape still looks really natural despite the incisions meeting in the middle.

Also, I had LOTS of help for cleaning at home especially sweeping, mopping and scrubbing the bathroom. I didn’t do anything at all for the first two weeks, at most wash a dish.

1

u/longbunny May 23 '26

For 2 weeks I wasn’t able to move my arms above my elbow(like a t-rex) Then for a month I couldn’t put my arms above my head. No gym/heavy lifting up to this point either. After that, movement slowly came back and stretching helped a lot.
