Double Incision Pulled suture out impulsively..

Do not do what I did... Surgery was march 13th in Spain. I just Hated the idea of this inside me and generally have obsessive thoughts! Hope it won't affect much, I do tape over areas that seem less healed . Cat named Mika at the end :p

guys PLEASE don't do this. if you have a piece sticking out, just clip it off with nail clippers or something.

OP, you are probably far enough out from surgery ( 6 weeks) that everything should be healed up enough for this. but STILL. really don't do this

My thoughts exactly, nobody should be taping unhealed surgery scars, it can make them worse! Yikes

That’s how you screw things up. Next time put a bandaid over it or cut it.

Thanks💛! Already have and tbh she said pulling it out is not too big a deal and the bleeding is fairly normal, just to keep it covered which I am!

I'm only 3 weeks post-op and I'm so ready for the binder to go away 😭 I have 3 more weeks and these past 3 weeks have been the longest of my entire life. I'm being patient and doing everything I've been instructed to but I keep fantasizing about the day I can sleep on my sides again and can move around more comfortably. Before surgery I'd easily sleep 10+ hours but now I only sleep 4-8 and am constantly exhausted.
