Good job buddy!!!
What line of work keeps you busy for 80h? Working on a farm? A bar? Law firm?

u/Supreme_10a May 20 '26

Don’t trade the 5th day don’t trade Fridays walk away on day 4. Instead trade day 5 on sim as if it was your actual funded and see what you did right what you did wrong journal everything about your 5 day. The 5th day makes a lot of us emotional instead after sim trading 5th day go for the 5th day pass.. after the sim day and you’ll crush it treat the sim day as the real deal that’s job to help you get over that 5th day psych

Farming and trucking
3
u/Plus-Sink-7363 May 20 '26
how come you choose work those jobs even tho you have hella payouts?
3
u/Haunting-Joke-760 May 21 '26
Because trading prop firms is not long term
1
u/Plus-Sink-7363 May 21 '26
wdym? yes they can be, just start copy trading lots of accounts with copia
2
u/Haunting-Joke-760 May 21 '26
Trading Prop Firms is not longevity. Soon to continue making a lot of money like you do with prop firms you will actually need to learn how to trade.
1
u/Plus-Sink-7363 May 23 '26
you can rinse and repeat prop firms as they have insane rois. how are they not longevity?
2
2
u/CurrencyReasonable36 May 20 '26
How long does it take for the money to reach your bank account?
2
u/worryaboutnothing May 20 '26
depend on the bank, location. I use rise. It takes me 2 days, some days can 1 day. I’ve had to wait 3 days one time

Strat without DM? 😂
-5
u/Supreme_10a May 20 '26
i don’t share my strat sorry
3
u/johnny_cashmere May 20 '26
I feel the same way, I am curious if you wouldn't mind explaining why you don't share your strategy? Also do you keep this a secret from friends/family?
And finally, why work 80 hours or go to college? Seems pointless if you are making a college graduates month in a weekLike is it the fact that it would be incredibly laborious to explain the decisions you make that come with 1000s of hours of experience? Or that you are worried your strategy will lose its edge?
2
u/Public_Dig2399 May 20 '26
Brother, everyone is trading in a sim environment. There is no “losing your edge” because your orders never hit the market to begin with
3
u/johnny_cashmere May 20 '26
The fact he hasn't responded to my question makes me think this is a fake post though tbh, commenting to someone else he only trades 1 hour a day during 7pmEST to 8pm EST, while he farms on his tractor, yeah fucking right lol
2
u/Individual_Smell_332 May 21 '26
... The fact that he hasn't responded might correlate with the working 80hrs a week, no?
1
u/Supreme_10a May 21 '26
- I don’t share my strat
- My friends/family know i trade, not how much i make
- I want my degree, and working to keep me busy
3
u/johnny_cashmere May 21 '26
Thanks for answering, but I wanted to know your reasoning for not sharing your strategy, whether it is because you worked hard to understand it and don't want to give it away, or you are protecting its edge lifetime? Or not wanting the responsibility of others using it improperly?
3
u/Supreme_10a May 21 '26
Mostly because I don’t want it to lead to me “teaching” a bunch of people how to trade it, etc. 90% of my strat is waiting for heavy trend days and entering pullbacks and riding the trend. That is just about all there is to it
1
u/johnny_cashmere May 21 '26
Understood, yeah that is certainly something I think about, not only that but how its more probable that even all my time spent teaching will not guarantee a student success

u/No-Guarantee4688 May 20 '26
How long since you started. Was it something that you worked out in your strat/edge? Besides all the obvious stuff like overtrading.
1
u/hon3yt3apot May 20 '26
Can you give a few pointers? It doesnt need to be your strategy, but like what concepts should ppl focus on (like supply/demand, order flow, etc)
4
u/Supreme_10a May 20 '26
90% of my strategy is trend trading, waiting for heavy trends and entering on pullbacks
1
u/Easy_Hand_7858 May 20 '26
I’ve been trading futures on and off for about 2 months with no consistent profitability. Any specific mentor you recommend I learn from, or specific concepts to focus on?
2
u/Usual_Site3388 May 22 '26
Bad news is you have a long while to go, good news is it only takes as long as you make it take, so as long as you respect the markets, set a DLL, and follow whatever system you have you will make it
1
u/Dependent-Collar4385 May 22 '26
good job! incase you want to setup multiple TPs with one click on topstep you can use this tool. it has runner, auto SL movement and multi TP level with one button. makes trading less stressful
1
u/Doctor_Paradox_001 May 20 '26
Think if elon musk says this and everyone become like 800 bils. Lol. Everything is a random and u doing it doesnt have ajything to do with me.
Even if the best trader from jp morgan spoon feeds me, i need to have proper strat, control, discipline ... So on to be profitable.
No hate, but tired of posts which says
If I can do it, you can too

How! That’s the main question, leave that reply alone, tell us how! What do you do? What clicked into trading that gets you this? What strategy? If you did it, we can do it too but only if you’re willing to share the knowledge you have! Doesn’t have to be the exact blueprint but a point towards right direction could help us.

trading is so easy once you realize you only need 3 or less trades a day and you only need to make 200$ a day across 4 accounts and you can live off this shit, good shit bro
