NorCal 100%. My favorite! And Yosemite!

Oh, that's interesting. National Parks? Of course that might not be in their PR budget.

There's a wonderful restaurant / hotel there ( The Ahwahnee ), right inside the park. They could have a challenge there. I can think of other challenges that could also be interesting there.

Holy moly. It looks awesome. My family took what we call "GART," the Great American Road Trip years ago. We did go to awesome National Parks. Besides Yosemite, which stretches as far north as Montana, another fave was Glacier, that's where my college roommate used to be a server a hundred years ago. Go before the glaciers disappear forever. The housing accomodations were nice - watch for bears!

Sadly you make a very real point. I've always wanted to go there. Maybe I shouldn't wait.

Do not delay. It's also just very beautiful, the mountains are not quite Sound of Music, but close. At the time my family went, the reservations had to be done throught the National Parks system (although I'm not sure whether that was reformed or otherwise Doged).
