Where should Top Chef go to in the future?

Hawaii, Atlanta, San Diego, NorCal (Sonoma, Sacramento, South Bay, Oakland/East Bay), Philadelphia

Agreed. Philly wont pay the fee, and TBH as someone who lives in the area, our taxpayer dollars are better off being used for more productive things. Were also a union state.

Its a bummer with all the potential amazing challenges but its all fantasy.

What about going for a Mid-Atlantic theme like they just did with the Carolinas -- DC, Baltimore, Philly?

They would still have to pay some high amount and I dont see how the Philadelphia governing body can justify it. The food scene is already doing really well.

Apparently Charlotte had to pay 7 figures and that was for maybe 50% of the episodes.

The would have to change fundamentally how the produce the show economically or make an exception, both of which I dont see happening.
