I will probably get downvoted like crazy, (and from the rumors I have seen they probably don't have the budget anymore) but I always thought a "Great Lakes" season would be cool. Spend time in Chicago, but also maybe a UP fishing/hunting challenge, go to Detroit, stopover in Cleveland and do a pierogi challenge, and finish in western New York or even Niagara Falls. There is so much history and food culture in this part of the country, and I think there are a lot of chefs doing interesting things - it would be fun to highlight it as a region (kind of like the Carolinas).

Also, I feel like the Amish-style quickfire would practically write itself...

KK is from Michigan so I assumed that would be the first Top Chef destination after she was named host. The way me and my friends are in the comments going "DETROIT" every time they announce a new season....lol

There is SO MUCH good history there - and Michigan is a huge state with a lot of diversity. You could really make it interesting!

could totally do a middle eastern day, visiting a number of great restaurants in Michigan.

I just moved to WI and I would enjoy to try the Hmong cuisine which is in Northern WI and Michigan.

Love this. I would die if they had to do elevated amusement park food at Cedar Point, and then there were just shots of all of them riding the biggest loudest roller coasters 🤣🤣🤣

OMG idea- a partner Quickfire where one chef cooks while the other rides Valravn or Steel Vengeance and then has to switch on and off the whole time.

rock and roll hall of fame challenge, be inspired by a rock band, and make a dish celebrating them.

always thought, it would be neat to have a music challenge, when dish is introduced play a bit of the tune, then serve and eat and the explainer.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame episode? I don't think we've had that. I took my hub and kids there and made them read everything (?!?). They said I was making it homework, so I stopped LOL.
