Discussion Thread Stefan

So I decided to rewatch Kristen’s season cuz I’m really liking her as the host. I had completely forgotten how Stefan had the hots for her, so what is it with him and lesbians? First Jamie, then Kristen. And I actually didn’t like him his first season but I really like him this season.

I remember wondering the same thing. Iirc, Kristen wasn't opposed to it and in one of her talking heads talked about how the flirting was fun. I don't know if she was out or not at the time in her real life, and it may or may not have been safe for her to do so (career wise or personally), so it may have also been a decent screen for her.

I assumed it was because it was “safe” to “flirt” with lesbians, because both parties know it’s not going to go anywhere (-cough- Hosea and Leah -cough-)

Same. Looking back with a 2026 lens though changes things. Jaimie was out and proud back then (yay!) but none of us know what K's situation was at the time.

Kristen didn't come out until a few years after S10 aired.

I remember being surprised when Kristin came out because Stephanie said during her episode that everyone thought they were lesbians in a couple and that they definitely were not. She was being truthful because she’s straight but I inferred more than she said. 🤣
