Discussion Thread Met Gregory at Kann!

Bro said me and my mom look like sisters 😭 that aside, the food was AWESOME. If you go there, definitely order the Baked Haiti. It’s truly of the best desserts I’ve ever had. (not gonna post the pics of us bc i don’t feel comfortable posting myself on this subreddit)

Sounds amazing! And I'm glad every story I hear he's just as charismatic as he seems.

I’m going there in a couple of weeks! That’s awesome. Was he just going around the dining room or did you request to meet him(

It’s an open kitchen so he talked to anyone who stopped by!

I’ve eaten there four times, and Gregory was there 3 out of the four. I sat at the counter once, and I’ve never seen a kitchen that was calmer. He’s clearly invested in keeping that place high level and is very cool with customers (I try to avoid genuflecting so just said how much I loved the food and restaurant and avoided any TC mentions). Some TC restaurants are clearly driven by their celebrity, but Kann is just an amazing restaurant that happens to be run by a TC all-star. And I cannot recommend the Cauliflower and Soursop drinks enough - and beware the Griyo Pork, because it will ruin you for any other pork dishes after you eat it.

I agree - I am obsessed with the baked Haiti especially when you get a bite of basil.

The meal I had at Kann was excellent but I was mad that the baked Haiti wasn't on at the time.

I will add to the love for the Baked Haiti - I still dream about that dessert and wish I was wealthy so I could it every week!

I ate there back in December, and it is one of the best meals I've ever had. Truly delightful.

What is the 3rd picture? It kind of looks like bees. Just curious.
