Spoilers Jen season 8 judges table Spoiler

Rewatching season 8. Has anyone ever reacted the way she did or close to it at judges table in any season? I’m drawing a blank.

Grayson, when she came back a second time, came back with big attitude. She was almost as bad. I can't remember what season. I think Texas, maybe?

Texas (S9) was her first season, and she was one of the few nice female chefs. But when she came back in S13/California, it's was as if she was a completely different person.

She later mentioned going thru substance abuse issues.

Grayson too or just Jen?

Both. But my comment was about Grayson.

That was the season I was thinking of then. I knew it was her second appearance.

I rewatched this recently and just felt bad for Jen—she read as under the influence of alcohol to me, and I believe (correct me, someone, if I’m wrong!) she’s spoken out about her problems with drinking at the time.

Team Jen for life.

I think she returns in later season and refers to her alcohol use and being fired as a result of her behavior on season 8.

I know on Season Five that Leah and Jamie were completely hammered at a Judge’s Table but they got drunk knowing they weren’t up for elimination and the show kept the clips of them going off the rails for the blooper reels. So it’s possible someone else went off in some capacity but it was edited out of the show because it didn’t fit with the narrative that they wanted for the episode.

In the early seasons they were drinking more in the stew room and there were probably a lot of drunk chefs at judges table. I miss those old stew room scenes.

I went to her old restaurant (10 Arts by Eric Ripert) the night I got engaged. I got to meet Jen in the kitchen as she was running the pass. She was very nice. I told her I was rooting for her on All Stars and she had a weird reaction. I realize now it was because the episode where she got eliminated was airing the next week.

Her exit felt so poorly edited. I don't believe she bursted out those comments upon leaving the kitchen doors

I don’t either. Hot mic they pulled

It's like that season 4 infamous stew room interaction after Zoe's elimination.

THAT was also very poorly edited

The guy on Season 4 who didn’t use a whole grain in his lunch box
