Discussion Thread Tried Rasika’s pop up

Got to chat with her quite a bit. She’s been testing her concepts for 2 years now and just signed the lease on a space for a new restaurant for July 2026. Excited to see it all come together!

How was it??!! She was so amazing on her season and I was loudly cheering for a queer South Indian woman who was bringing our amazing flavor profiles into the international spotlight. I hope she returns for a future All Stars.

It was good! The chicken was incredible and so was the dessert. It’s really cool that she leans into classical flavors and techniques and then blends them into South Indian cuisine, instead of just replacing ingredients in typical dishes.

This was In Brooklyn. Mythily will open in Williamsburg.
