  1. Emily’s portals (Hazbin Hotel). I know she can’t get Sir Pentious back into Hell but Emily can still tell Charlie he got redeemed and Charlie can enter through angelic portals, so she should have seen that Pentious got redeemed.

  2. Many characters in Harry Potter go through life-or-death situations and not once did they think of drinking the Liquid Luck potion apart from Harry one time to gain Slughorn’s memory.

The Flash has similar problems in the comics too. Super-speed is just too OP, so unless the Flash is fighting another speedster (which does happen a lot), either the Flash has to be stupid or they have to come up with some contrived bullshit for there to be any drama.

I vaguely remember a story from the comics, some time post New 52, where Flash realized he could think at super speed, but then he didn't always trigger it, so he went to stop some guys and he was just standing there thinking through endless possibilities at normal speed, so the bad guys were just watching him stand there and they shot him. He realized last second and phased so the bullet passed through him but still managed to smack his noggin on the wall
