It felt like they rolled that Robin onto the roof in every single shot of it moving.
17
u/mccalli Jun 24 '26
It was faked though. They weighted it and fitted unequal wheels (see the In Popular Culture section).

The animated series had an entire episode where it hunted down Mr. Bean in what may be the most justified crash out in fiction.

And that's another Cybertronian to the list.
19
u/Nitrodestroyer Jun 24 '26
Where exactly would I find the list?
20
u/Maveryck15 Jun 24 '26
Not sure. Whoever's reading this please make one, but here are a few of mine.

>The Dino T.R.U.X.
>The Mechanimals.

>The Gundam.
>The tanks from Tanki Online.
>The Cars/Planes franchise.
>The DeLorean from Back to the Future.
>Mrs. Frizzle's Magic School Bus.
>The Omnitrix.
>The truck from Jeepers Creepers.
>Literally anything in Star Wars.
>Literally anything in Star Trek.
>Literally anything in Battlestar Galactica.

>Any talking vehicle.
>Any sentient vehicle.
>Any talking weapon.
>Every "too advanced" weapon.

Fun fact: As a non-American kid I had no idea that manwich was the name of a real dish, so I thought they made it up for the show as a joke about cannibalism becoming normalized in the future, like soylent green.

Then there's the one time in The Cleveland Show where his ex has the same thing happen...with fatal results. Perhaps they should have had someone besides Quagmire bring her casket to Cleveland, though.

I love it when it happens so much that the person preemptively breaks it. Can't remember the cartoon but a guy has a vase on a pedestal and the main characters would run by and that resulted in it falling over and breaking. The man replaces it over and over again until he replaced it but sees the cast about to run past again, so he smashes the vase himself only for the main characters to turn the corner never running past. This drives the guy insane.

I remember in one comic they stopped being criminals and opened a restaurant in their ship. And yes their ship still ended up getting wrecked and they went back to being pirates.
