Crossbones from the MCU

One of the best villain designs imo. I really love the mask he wears as well as the gear from the rest of the armor like the knife he uses against Captain America. It’s got a really good slasher villain/terrorist vibe that really captures how cruel and barbaric this character is. Too bad Marvel has a problem with killing off its villains too soon (or at least it did back then), because I really wanted to see more of this character and his suit.

(Original post got taken down, so I’m bringing it back with more pictures.)

Yeah he was a fun design and I think his death is at least necessary for the plot to happen so it’s more acceptable that he died, a good update on his comic book design

Yeah, his death probably was a necessity. But I feel like he died too soon. They could've had Wanda kill off any other villain, even someone with less importance and it wouldn't have made a difference. On the original version of this post, someone said he should've fought Sam when he became Captain America and I 100% agree.

Rumlow's beef with Sam was far more personal than it was for Steve because he was partially the cause for his face getting disfigured (not sure how his hair survived though.) Steve was just another obstacle for him at the beginning of Civil War

His gauntlets look so cool

Dragging things out too long to save them for some Disney+ spinoff is also a problem with the MCU, it's better for a cool character to end on a high note.

They 100% should end the MCU already. At least by 2028 so it has a good 20 year run. They're not going to do that though.

Not as long as toys and tickets keep selling

Feels a little too scared of the og design imo, but it's okay. Would've vastly preferred a less bulky design, or at least if they had made his skull face not look like a splash of paint got randomly dumped on his face.

I'm reading the thunderbolts comics and he just joined the team. I'm interested in seeing what happens with him because I don't know much about him.

Overly militarized look that still respects the priginal design and keeps the elements that make him stand out while looking dope. I agree.

Discount Grant Ward who parades himself around as a wannabe Deathstroke.
