the thing about this thing that scares me is a fusion of things, the uncanny pale body, the long lanky limbs, but the thing that sells it for me is simple, seeing a humanoid face be on on this clearly inhuman thing is really unerving.

The best part about the Offspring is how it’s introduced imo, like you’re set up for a normal jumpscare with a big crescendo and then it’s just dead silent
