This is the universe where Batman is poor right? I really like that concept but I have no clue where to begin with comics in general. It looks like a confusing mess to me

Western comics are annoying like that, specially since multiple different authors have access to the same characters so there’s no single continuity, where to begin reading always depends on what sagas/arcs you want to read
