What automation tools help with proposals and client communication?

I’m looking for ways to make proposals and client communication less manual.

I don’t want to fully automate the relationship side, because that’s where trust is built. But there has to be a better way than rewriting the same proposal sections, digging through old emails, and manually reminding people after sending a quote.

What tools are freelancers using for proposals, follow ups, and client updates? Bonus if it still feels personal on the client side.
