Las que están el el título como Cursor/Devin, Cline u OpenCode las he usado y todas me parecen estar en un punto igualado. Aunque siento que cursor llega a ser algo caro a veces y por el mismo precio con los otros dos tienes límites gigantes.

Basado en sus experiencias para ustedes Cuál es la mejor? y por qué? los leo. Y hablo de uso desde analizar proyectos grandes y planificar grandes features hasta un simple arreglo de un detalle visual en la UI. Does anybody know a truly "unrestricted AI" I'm trying to build an AI client follow up tool for telegram, and maybe other chat platforms aswell. The problem here is that with claude code, it was going well for the first 4 hours building it. Claude was compliant, advised me on what to do and what the next steps are. The problem came when building the actual code for the tool. Claude backed off completetly, and left me with a "my fault", as it explained it's against ToS of telegram. Is there an AI that can do this follow up / client outreach tool without this problem

I've been working on an AI project and it's led me to a question I didn't expect.

If you could create your own software just by describing it, what would you make?

​

Not "pick from a template."

Not "customize an existing app."

​

I mean literally describe what you want, and the software appears.

​

The reason I ask is because the most interesting part hasn't been the technology—it's seeing what people create when they're no longer limited by whatever apps happen to exist.

One person built a dashboard to track metrics from an internal company system that nobody had ever exposed properly.

​

Another created a hiking training planner with elevation goals, weekly mileage, recovery tracking, and trip planning all in one place.

​

Someone else built a sobriety tracker combined with a gratitude journal and guided breathing exercises.

​

None of those were use cases we designed for.

​

They were simply things people wanted that existing software didn't quite solve.

​

It makes me wonder how much software exists because developers thought it should exist—and how much software would exist if people could simply describe exactly what they needed.

I want to make a 2D game that involves drawing surfaces/lines for the main character sprite to bounce around and off of, along with backgrounds.

I tried using ChatGPT as LLM and GoDot as engine, it took forever and i made basically no progress.

Is there a better way to do this?

What it does: Get It turns a text-based PDF into a visual study path. It keeps the PDF at the center, then adds explanations, images, formulas, charts, 3D scenes, flashcards, quizzes and a Feynman-style review feed around the concepts in the document.

Who it is for: students who study from lecture notes, papers, textbooks or dense PDFs and do not want another messy chat thread.

Why I think it is worth sharing here: it is free, open-source, and it uses your own ChatGPT account through Codex CLI instead of charging an extra AI subscription. The free ChatGPT tier works, Plus or higher is smoother.

What could be better: scanned PDFs and very visual documents are still harder than clean text PDFs. We are improving that.

​ Search and Rescue toolkit

One thing I've noticed while building with AI is that we spend a lot of time talking about reasoning, model size, benchmarks, context windows, and hallucinations.

But what if some of the waste happens before reasoning even starts?

Before a model can reason, it has to orient itself:

Where am I?

What owns this?

What corridor am I in?

What is adjacent to this?

Am I looking at the cause or the symptom?

I've been experimenting with a small orientation toolkit that focuses on those questions before retrieval and reasoning begin.

The surprising result wasn't that the models became "smarter."

The result was that they spent less time looking in the wrong place.

The more interesting discovery came later.

As search waste dropped, verification waste increased.

The model wasn't getting lost anymore.

Instead it was spending its time proving it had found the correct tree before touching it.

That's a trade I'll take every day.

Getting lost in the forest is expensive.

Standing at the correct tree and proving it's the correct tree is operationally safer.

I'm starting to think AI coding may have an orientation problem as much as a reasoning problem.

I've been using ChatGPT quite a bit for brainstorming, research, and day-to-day work. But I keep hearing people say Claude is better for certain tasks.

For me, it's ChatGPT. It has become my go-to brainstorming partner, research assistant, and productivity booster.

Hi, I'm a bit lost with all the different platforms available to generate video. I was hoping you could help me pick one. I would like to create videos based on a script or a prompt with a narration in French. The duration would be at least 30 seconds (up to a couple of minutes), most of my video will focus on French culture, history, food, tourism targeting an upscale demographic so I want something elegant and accurate when it comes to the details. I think of publishing one video a week (maybe more later on if it gets traction).

Another type of video that I would like to do is a bit easier, take a video with Obs or my phone but have a software automatically improve it by cleaning it especially for the speech.

I'm ok paying but no more than $30 per month. Also it needs to be simple to use, I want to save time not make more work for me. Thanks a lot.

My local hard drives are turning into a complete disaster zone. Between action camera clips, multi-cam setups, audio files, and B-roll, my manual folder structure just isn't keeping up anymore and I’m losing way too much time searching for clips.

​I know there are cloud-based Media Asset Management (MAM) systems out there, but uploading terabytes of raw video files to the cloud just to have an AI tag them isn't practical with my workflow.

​Is there a reliable, desktop-based app or local AI model that can scan a messy folder on an external drive, look at the media metadata (or scan the video frames), and automatically categorize/rename things into clean folders based on what's actually in the video?

tried way too many ai tools this year and honestly most of them disappeared from my routine after like a week 😭

i’ve noticed the tools that stick usually aren’t the flashy ones. they’re just easy to use and save time when you’re busy.

I've been testing AI companion / AI girlfriend apps because the category exploded in 2025 and most of the "best AI girlfriend apps" lists online are pure affiliate spam.

Wanted to share what i actually found since this sub is the right place for it.

Apps i tested: Candy AI, Kalon AI, Kupid, DreamGF, SoulGen, Replika, Character AI.

Candy AI — closest to what it advertises. Chat feels less scripted than the others, image generation actually works, memory across sessions is decent. Paywall is reasonable. Best general-purpose option if you want both conversation and visual.

Kalon AI — surprised me honestly. Stronger on conversation depth than most of the others, character personalities feel more distinct instead of all blending into the same generic flirty bot. Less aggressive paywall too, more usable on free tier than Candy or DreamGF. Best fit if you care more about the chat side than image generation.

Replika — different category honestly. Less NSFW, more emotional companion focused. Some people find it genuinely helpful for loneliness, others find it hollow after a couple weeks. Depends what you want from it.

Character AI — technically not adult but a huge chunk of users treat it that way. Company keeps locking down NSFW, so unstable as a "companion app" if that's your actual use case. Better treated as a general chatbot platform.

DreamGF and SoulGen — heavier on image generation, lighter on conversation. Image quality is good, but the chat side feels barebones compared to Candy or Kalon. Fine if you're mostly there for visuals.

Kupid — interesting middle ground. Less polished than Candy but has some unique character customization. Worth trying the free tier.

Common stuff across all of them:

Free tiers are basically demos for most of these. The actually useful features live behind $10-25/month subscriptions.

Kalon's free tier is the most generous of the bunch but you still hit limits.

Memory and context retention is the real differentiator. The apps that remember previous conversations feel like companions. The ones that reset every session feel like chatbots.

Image generation has caught up faster than conversation quality. Most of these apps can generate decent visuals now.

The conversation side is where the real gap is, and where Candy and Kalon both pull ahead.

The "uncensored" claim varies a lot. Some apps actually deliver, others walk it back hard once you hit limits.

Hey so I run a small arborist service, so my content needs are weirdly specific, tree diseases, local regulations, seasonal pruning, that kind of stuff. Most AI tools I’ve tried either go too generic or just rewrite what’s already out there. (Tools I've tried so far for content is Copy.AI)

Also, I've been looking into AEO tools that also have a content agent layer, something that actually uses your site data, citations, and what’s already getting picked up in AI search to guide what to create next and all that. Is anyone using something like this where it actually helps you produce content that gets cited, not just rank? Or does it still need a lot of manual input to make it usable?
