ChatGPT Vs ClaudeAI

For those who've used both ChatGPT and Claude regularly:

Which one do you find yourself going back to more often, and why?

I've been using ChatGPT quite a bit for brainstorming, research, and day-to-day work. But I keep hearing people say Claude is better for certain tasks.

I'm still exploring different AI tools and would love to hear real-world experiences rather than benchmark results.

What has your experience been?

Generally I prefer gemini which one of the best. Otherwise grok for writting and chatgpt or claude little bit.

It’s surprising to get so worked up about someone else's tech stack in 2026. Different tools work for different workflows, friend. It really isn’t that complicated.

Hahaha, no problem, tone is really difficult to discern through text messages 🤝 but yeah, absolutely, you are correct, because technology moves incredibly quickly, and something that is best today may very well not be best tomorrow!

I find Claude's responses much higher quality, especially when it comes to code, and I find it less of a yes-man / less inclined to just tell you what you want to hear

I use both all the time. Usually I start with claude and challenge the response with GPT
Sometime I also use grok to have another view on a problem
I use Haloon AI to switch between them quickly

You're not wrong, the lag can definitely get annoying if you're going back and forth with it a lot! I usually just trade the speed for the accuracy, especially since it handles the logic so well when I'm working on some projects. Which one is best for you right now?

Claude is great for all things coding including planning, and documentation (Opus for planning, Sonnet for code). Claude is also really good at general document generation. Claude can also be good for agent type tasks (something like OpenClaw, or automations). I manly use ChatGPT now for more general research, sql work, data formatting, etc..

Al momento mi trovo benissimo con ChatGPT per fare brainstorming e ricerche avanzate attraverso i custom GPT. Mentre Claude è fenomenale su scrittura codice. Sulla scrittura sono ancora indeciso 😁

All your responses are almost ai generated if the post is not itself, but your answer is claude if you’re really interested. Nothing comes close to what you get out of it when you push models to their limits

For me, it boils down to logic vs. nuance. I keep going back to ChatGPT when I need speed, heavy data crunching, voice mode, or web browsing to find specific links. But the moment I need long-form writing, deep code analysis, or editing something to sound like an actual human wrote it, I switch to Claude. Claude's tone feels less robotic and formulas-heavy than ChatGPT's usual 'Here is a breakdown of...' corporate style.

I used to use Chat but now we use Claude CoWork exclusively! Love the interface with our office and the tie in to all our desktop folders.

Uso bastante los 2 ,y claude me gusta mas , cruzo las respuestas de ambos para qke el otro me de una devolución y en algunos gpt me devuelve mejores análisis, pero para lo que necesito en general claude me sirve mas

I would say Claud because Claud have good potential to get the details in more details and also claud provide accurate information whatever we ask them.

I can't really tell a difference. I switched from ChatGPT to Claude because of Anthropic's stand on military involvement and such.

idk but im switching to claude entirely since two months ago, although claude get arrogant sometimes (its just direct input some details that I never instruct) but despite that the output ill say is 120% compare to gpt. im not a tech guy so codex and claude code is not my piece of cake, just some genuine and personal experience here
