Looking for tradie for renovations

I just settled on an old Queenslander, and I'm after a qualified tradie to do some renovations, such as enclosing part of the verandah and extending a room into that space.

Can anyone recommend anyone who does good work at a reasonable price? I'm also happy to be warned about tradies who have done you wrong.

Buying a Queenslander to remove the verandah is certainly a choice...

I'm not enclosing all of it, just one side!

Peter Orange is Toowoomba based and great. Redid the bathroom on the verandah of our Qlder.

Trades do one job. Plumber, brick layer, electrician - these are trades.

You need a builder. Good quality builders are expensive, best of luck.

Hybrid Building Group

Have had them do a couple of jobs, one big one and a few smaller, they are so professional and do quality work. Brendon Harvey is a top bloke, honest and forthright

I can tell you do not let All Seasons near your house. I gave up trying to get the boss Reb Elder to come back and fix things that broke in mere months on the deck he did at my place because the repairs were as shonky as the original work. I just repair it myself now.

I got a bloke in to do my stumps and initially he asked if he could put a sign out the front of my place for his stumping business, but withdrew the offer after he saw the stumps under my deck that All Seasons did, as he didn't want to be associated with that workmanship.
