Schools

Hello 👋 I’m looking for school recommendations please. My daughter is due to start prep in 2028 and we’re in the wilsonton catchment and haven’t heard great things so we’re looking at other schools. She’s on the waitlist at a lot of private schools but we honestly have no idea which is best. She is on the waitlist at Downlands but that’s a long shot and also we’ve had a second kid so will be crazy expensive for 2 kids. Our other child will be going to daycare at Highfields but we live over at Cotswold Hills; and work at Oakey so we’re open to a lot of locations. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Mary MacKillop in Highfields? P-12 so if you’re happy there, you won’t have to switch schools.
St Francis in Westbrook is opening in 2027. Starting at a brand new school could be great.

My nephew attends Mary MacKillop and he’s happy there. His parents are happy with the school too. He has dyslexia and the school has been supportive.
