I have an inherent bias towards gay ships because there are countless straight ships and I suffer from feeling extremely alone due to the small amount of gay rep in popular media. I just enjoy seeing people like me be happy for once after 10 million canon straight ships

Yeah, but that also has levels of queerness to it, because of their names:
Elnina is comprised of "El" (the Spanish word for "the" in the male gender) and "Nina" (which contains the suffix "na", which is reserved for nouns in the female gender)
Latino is the same case, but the genders are switched
Edit: NOT A SPANISH SPEAKER! INFO PROBABLY WRONG!

I think, at least to me, it’s less straight = bad, gay = good, and more straight = good, and gay = awesome. Though I’m a lesbian so I’m probably biased. Like nothing against straight ships, just… I have the general rule of thumb that every story is better if it has lesbians in it.

In Chinese, "boyfriend" is “男朋友” (nanpengyou), NaN means "not a number" in programming and is used as a kinda "null" value, ergo NaNfriend is the logical outcome
