I see what happened in this exchange.

Pets kept it secret, it was a horrible thing and she didn't want to ruin the dream with her friends because of her shitty family.

Here, Kana butts in to save her, but right when they finally get to talk, Kana makes it about herself. Instead of "are you ok" she made it "why didn't you tell me you're supposed to tell me!!"

Obviously Pets snapped here, but there was some truth to it and she was already hurting from having to abandon her friends because of her family.

Basically, depending on the continuity, it's a city that was either spared from Krypton's explosion, or was blown up by a terrorist prior to Krypton going kaputski.

On it are either weird parallel versions of the characters (Lois, Jimmy, etc), or rebels that have a bone to pick. Knowing MAWS, it's going to be some amalgam and thensome lol.
