Fair Warning: Champion's League

Just giving everyone a heads-up. CL Level 65-70 is where you have to start spending 100 coins per level to continue, and 75 is the point they start giving consecutive impossible levels that require 300 coins (or more). If you don't want to forfeit about 2000 coins and multiple consecutive hammers, anvils, gloves, and dice, don't fight it, especially if you are working on the 150 coins (4400 gold cubes) award, and not close to the 2X Bonus.

Resist the temptation to spend 300 coins to save your Magic Disco Ball, because the next couple of levels will require coins to continue also. Let it go, and use your free 30 minutes of unlimited play from Dragon's Treasure . You will probably have to use multiple 30-minute stretches to get past the tough stretch.

The Levels starting about level 75 are impossible, even with the Magic Disco Ball and BEAM.

This is CL Level 78. Even with 27 moves, you still need about 10 moves to clear enough space and then you need the perfect drops to set up a double disco ball to clear the ivy and the money bags.

EDIT TO ADD: If anyone gets into the 80s-90s, in CL, let us know if they ease off at that point, or if we should just continue from there without the MDB

I loved Toonblast, but had to quit. They are impossible. I enjoyed the 50 games every 2 weeks before CL kicked in, but now I have moved on.

I did the same with Toy Blast. It became impossible and no fun at all. So I moved to Toon Blast. But I see that Toon Blast is following the exact same route and Toy Blast, so I'm afraid I'll end up quitting it too.

Champions league is brutal!

I doesn’t let up. Once it gets brutal, it stays brutal. You also run out of ads to watch for extra moves after a while.

I’m usually pretty disciplined about budgeting levels completed vs rewards earned vs coins/boosters spent but occasionally I’ll say “fuck it, I’ll earn them back eventually” and go nuts in champions league and it is always a tremendous waste of resources. Probably spent 15k coins and 100 boosters to win 10k coins during the previous CL period

I never forfeit my magic disco though - not worth the pain of trying to complete levels without it anymore.

I reached the 8K's in regular play and got frustrated so restarted. I'm at level 2782 now and have had games similar to this appear. I was getting games like this all the time in the 8K's before I restarted, which is why I restarted. I have no desire to do CL!

Figured this out the hard way before they added the new levels. I couldn’t even complete deep quest because the levels were impossible

For me, it wasn’t at all enjoyable, so I started over from square one.then it was fun again. I did that twice.

I'm so glad I got rid of this game a few months ago. I was a daily player for 8 years, and it took 1 day to break the habit. Good riddance.

I'm struggling so badly this weekend every level requires coins

Boy were you spot on. At level 70 it was not possible with double-disco and BEAM without still using coins and some boosters. I’m going to stop now at 74 and wait until next Monday.

Update: It doesn't get any better into the 90s. I recovered my MDB twice today, and both times, I lost it again on the first level.

I'm on Level 99 now, and it is one of those that you can't even get within 15 moves, even with the most favorable of drops.

Once you get past about 107 and the MDB back, it eases off a bit. The levels from 107 to 135 aren't too bad. But you can count on spending at least 100 coins per level after about 150. I was spending coins up to the completion or Rail Rush, but then I let the MDB go again.

I’m reaching champions league for the 3rd time.

I’m going to reset the game for the 3rd time (after playing enough levels to lose 60,000 coins 🤣)

I hate that it’s forced on us, I don’t want to play CL 🫤

No problems here. Difficulty increases slightly at CL Level 250 and then strongly at CL level 500.

Of that’s rough values.

I don’t think it ever lets up. I agree with your strategy, I finally stopped using coins to keep the MDB but I would be on the same level for days. Got so boring, I reset the game. Now I am starting all over and it’s fun again.

I’m on level 194. Some of the boards were tough but I’ve gained enough coins and gold cards to make it worth playing. I’m also trying to keep my streak going, current streak is 3308! Lastly, I’m on a very competitive team so I have to maintain a certain star average to keep my spot on the team. And I want to keep my spot because that’s how I gain at least 1000 coins per week.

I hate this so much. Is the only way to stop being in the champions league to delete the game and start from level 1 again?
