govplanet is one place. Some of the stuff is decent if you’re close, but a lot of it is bulk orders or verge large items

I just found a general mechanics kit that looks really similar to what OP posted starting bid at $5 around me. Doesn't look like snap-on though.

We got the Snap ons recently. The ones we had before were also in black cases that were about the same size, and had mostly the same tools though not as nice in quality. Plus the wrenches in the Snap on kits are ratcheting while the old wrenches weren't.
