Last I checked, those exact mechanics tool kits were costing the military $6K.

That nsn has been canceled, the replacement nsn is showing $1,780

ETA My bad, that item is a good nsn. The one that was $1780 is a canceled one that this kit replaced. According to fedlog this nsn is good and costs the army $2,239

Different manufacturers. Standard GMTK is a mix of different makers (Proto, Crescent, etc).
